Bas3line Edge Team 3 Padel Balls

£6

These Bas3line Edge Team 3 padel balls are the everyday sibling to the brand's Edge Pro tube: a pressurised ball with a high-density rubber core, pitched at club and social matches rather than tournament play.

Bas3line doesn't name a felt for this ball the way it does for the Edge Pro, and its published bounce range runs a touch wider than both the Pro ball and the FIP's own competition tolerance, honest gaps rather than oversights we're smoothing over.

What Bas3line says, and what it leaves out

The high-density rubber core is the one build detail Bas3line names for this ball, pitched to hold pressure and resist wear over a season of club nights. Unlike the brand's own Edge Pro ball, which names a specific British woven felt, the Edge Team's felt isn't described at all; we're not filling that gap with a guess.

Weight sits at the same 56 to 59.4 g as the Pro ball, but the published bounce range, 135 to 147 cm, runs 2 cm past both the Pro ball's figure and the FIP's own 135 to 145 cm tolerance for a competition ball. That's a small difference, and not one that should matter for a club match, but it's the kind of detail worth stating plainly rather than rounding away.

Tube, and how long it stays lively

One sealed tube of three. No maker, Bas3line included, publishes how many sessions a tube stays at its best, so go by feel: once the ball stops coming off the back glass with any pace, it's time for a fresh one. A padel ball pressuriser slows that drop between sessions.

Who it suits, and the other Bas3line ball

Social and club players who want a consistent, pressurised ball for weekly games without paying for a tournament-grade tube. For league or competitive play where every bit of bounce consistency counts, Bas3line's own Edge Pro balls are built closer to the FIP's own tolerance, and Head's Pro S+ is the UK club standard most venues already stock. Our padel ball page compares every brand we stock, the padel racket range has the rackets to play them with, and our guide to choosing a padel racket covers the rest of the kit. For a purely social game where colour matters more than tolerances, the pink Complete Padel balls are another option.

Not for you if

You're playing in a league or tournament that specifies a ball standard. The Edge Pro's published figures sit closer to the FIP tolerance.

Bas3line Edge Team 3 Padel Balls: questions people ask

Is the Bas3line Edge Team ball the same as the Edge Pro?

No. They share a weight and a high-density rubber core, but the Edge Pro names a specific felt and publishes a bounce range matching the FIP's own tolerance; the Edge Team doesn't name a felt and runs a slightly wider bounce range.

Is the Bas3line Edge Team ball good enough for competitions?

It's pitched at everyday and club matches rather than tournaments. For competitive play, the Edge Pro's published figures sit closer to the FIP's own tolerance.

What core does the Bas3line Edge Team ball use?

A high-density rubber core, which Bas3line says helps the ball hold its pressure and resist wear.

How long does a tube of Bas3line Edge Team balls last?

No brand publishes a figure, Bas3line included. Once the ball stops bouncing back off the back glass with pace, open a fresh tube.

How many balls come in a Bas3line Edge Team tube?

Three, sealed and pressurised at the factory.
