Why the Vibram sole matters
Vibram makes the rubber, Bullpadel makes the shoe. Tennis Warehouse Europe describes the tread as a hybrid: square blocks on the inside edge, where you push off, and a modified herringbone on the outside, where you slide and stop. The point of a Vibram compound in a padel shoe is wear; the sand on artificial grass sands down ordinary rubber fast, and this is the sole for people who notice that.
In the midsole, a dual stabiliser and booster piece and what Bullpadel calls Catapult construction aim for stability and some spring back. The upper is heat-sealed technical mesh with a rubber panel on the inner side, where the foot drags on low balls, and a perforated tongue.
Fit, and the one size we have
Tennis Warehouse Europe rates the fit as true to length, medium width and medium arch, with a short break-in. Our pair is a UK 6.5, which Bullpadel's chart puts at EU 40 and about 248mm of foot. That's small for a men's shoe, so it may also suit a woman who wants a Vibram sole; the Pearl Vibram 26V is Bullpadel's women's shoe with one.
