Bullpadel GB-1603 Senso Overgrip (White)

£4.99

The Bullpadel GB-1603 Senso overgrip is Bullpadel's thin overgrip, made for players who want to feel the shape of the handle and the angle of the face through their fingers rather than through a layer of cushioning.

Bullpadel sells it in packs of three, in white. Total Padel describes it as thinner than the brand's standard overgrip for a more connected feel, which is the whole idea behind the Senso name.

Why thinner is the point

Every layer of tape rounds the handle's edges a little more. Players who like to know exactly where the face is pointing, or who use a continental grip and feel for the bevels, often prefer a thin overgrip for that reason. The Senso is Bullpadel's answer.

How much thinner isn't nailed down. Bullpadel's own listing, as it appears in search results, calls it 25% thinner; one retailer quotes 0.5mm, the same as the standard GB-1200, which doesn't square with that. So we're not quoting a figure, just the plain fact that it's sold as the thin option.

Senso against the other Bullpadel three-packs

If you sweat a lot, the micro-perforated GB-1201 is the better pick; if you want the brand's everyday all-rounder, it's the GB-1200 Comfort, which comes in white as well. Our padel grip page explains thickness and grip size in more detail.

Who should go thicker

Players whose handle already feels small, or who suffer from elbow or wrist trouble, are usually better off with more cushioning rather than less. Thin grips also show wear faster, and white shows it fastest of all, which at least tells you honestly when to change it.

Not for you if

Your grip already feels too thin, or you want an overgrip with a published thickness.

Goes on any racket

Like any overgrip it wraps over the base grip of any padel racket; if the base grip underneath has gone flat, replace that first.

Bullpadel GB-1603 Senso Overgrip (White): questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel GB-1603 the same as the Senso overgrip?

Yes. GB-1603 is the code and Senso is the name; shops use either or both.

Who should use a thin padel overgrip like the GB-1603 Senso?

Players who want to feel the handle's edges and the angle of the face, and whose grip size is already right or a touch big.

GB-1603 Senso or GB-1200: which is better?

The Senso is the thin option for feel; the GB-1200 is Bullpadel's everyday absorbent overgrip. Choose by how much you want to feel the handle.

Does a white overgrip wear out faster?

No, but it shows wear faster, which is useful: when it turns grey and shiny, it's time to change it.

How thick is the Bullpadel GB-1603 Senso?

Bullpadel sells it as thinner than its standard overgrip. Sources disagree on an exact figure, so we don't quote one.
