Dunlop Eco Padel Balls Tube (Can of 3)

£6.30

The Dunlop Eco padel balls tube is a single can of three pressureless balls with synthetic felt, made for occasional players and academies who do not want a can to go flat between sessions. Dunlop pitches the Eco as its most sustainable padel ball, and retailers describe the packaging as recyclable and plastic-free.

Eco refers to the packaging, not to recycled balls: we found no source saying the balls themselves are recycled, and no independent test. One can is a cheap way to find out whether a pressureless feel suits you.

Why a pressureless can makes sense for casual play

A pressurised ball starts losing pressure the moment you crack the can, which is fine for a weekly league and wasteful for someone who plays once a month. A pressureless ball does not rely on that air, and Dunlop believes that extends the life of the ball. SGI Europe reported the Eco as aimed at occasional players and academies when it launched in 2023.

What we cannot say is how it plays against a premium ball. There is no pressure figure, no measured bounce and no lifespan number, so treat the comparison as a decision aid and not a test result.

Pressureless means the can does not go flat between games.

Eco tube, Pro tube or a bigger pack?

If you play regularly and want a livelier ball, the Dunlop Pro single can is the premium option. For coaching or school sessions, the Dunlop Team balls are Dunlop's practice choice. Our Eco dozen listing is the bulk version, but it does not state its ball count, which is why this tube is the safer buy if you want three.

Whichever you open, a ball pressuriser matters less with a pressureless ball and more with the pressurised ones.

Who should skip the Eco

Competitive players who want tour-style bounce, and anyone expecting recycled balls from the word eco. If you are still choosing a racket, start with the full padel racket range, or browse every padel ball in one place. Our guide to choosing a padel racket covers how racket and ball pair up.

Not for you if

You want a premium match ball, or you expect the balls themselves to be made from recycled material. No source says they are.

Dunlop Eco Padel Balls Tube (Can of 3): questions people ask

Is the Dunlop Eco tube the same ball as the Eco dozen?

It is the same Eco Padel ball in a different listing. The tube is one can of three, and the dozen listing does not state its count.

Are Dunlop Eco padel balls made from recycled materials?

We found no source saying so. The eco claim relates to recyclable, plastic-free packaging, per Dunlop and retailers.

What does pressureless mean on a padel ball?

The ball does not depend on pressurised air, so an opened or old can should not go flat the way a pressurised one does.

Are Dunlop Eco balls good enough for club matches?

Dunlop aims them at occasional players and academies, so a regular club player may prefer the pressurised Pro or Fort.

How many balls are in a Dunlop Eco tube?

Three. Dunlop sells its padel balls in cans of three.
