Dunlop Tour Dry Padel Overgrip (3 Pack, Mixed)

£4.99

The Dunlop Tour Dry padel overgrip 3 pack is a microperforated wrap for players whose hands sweat, sold in a blister of three, here in mixed colours. Dunlop's own page calls it lightweight, durable and highly absorbent.

Dunlop and the retailers we read do not publish a thickness, length or tack level, so we cannot say how it compares with a thin tacky grip. What they say is that the perforations keep hands drier and the racket from slipping.

What the Tour Dry overgrip is built to do

Zona de Padel describes two layers: a polyurethane outer and an inner of PU rubber with fibres. The outer is microperforated, which the page links to keeping hands dry, and there is adhesive on each end to make fitting easy. It is described as designed for players with excessive sweating on their hands.

Dunlop's UK page sells it in blisters of three or a tub of 60. One retailer notes the listing is older, so the construction may have been updated since.

Tour Dry or Tour Pro?

Dunlop sells a second padel overgrip, the Tour Pro, which is pitched on cushioning and comfort rather than moisture. If your problem is a slippy grip in warm matches, the Tour Dry is the one that targets it, and our Tour Pro 3 pack is the cushioned alternative.

Players who find overgrips too thin can browse the padel grip range, and those buying for a group should look at the Tour Dry 60 pack or the colour-mix tub.

Who should skip it

Anyone who needs a published thickness before buying, or who wants a pick of colour, since this listing is a mix. If you are still choosing a racket, start with the padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket.

Not for you if

You need a stated thickness, a specific colour, or a very tacky wrap rather than a perforated one.

Dunlop Tour Dry Padel Overgrip (3 Pack, Mixed): questions people ask

What does Tour Dry mean on a Dunlop overgrip?

How thick is the Dunlop Tour Dry overgrip?

The pages we read do not state a thickness.

Can I choose the colour of the Dunlop Tour Dry 3 pack?

This listing is mixed colours, so no. Other Dunlop listings sell white packs.

Is Dunlop Tour Dry better than Tour Pro for sweaty hands?

Dunlop positions the Tour Dry for moisture and the Tour Pro for cushioning, so the Tour Dry is the sweaty-hands option.
