Dunlop Super Tac Overgrip (3 Pack)

£7.90

The Dunlop Super Tac overgrip 3 pack is three wraps of Dunlop's firm, tacky overgrip, for racket players who re-grip every few matches and want a surface that grabs even when their hands sweat. Most sellers list it at 0.55 mm.

It is a tennis overgrip that retailers also pitch to padel players, and we found no padel-specific test. Treat the tack and sweat claims as seller copy and one reviewer's view.

What the Super Tac listings actually say

Retailers describe a firm, ultra-tacky surface that also absorbs sweat, and most give the thickness as 0.55 mm, though one lists the black version at 0.60 mm. IPON pitches the white 30-pack to tennis and padel players on the grounds that a thin wrap lets you feel the handle.

A Tennis Warehouse reviewer found it tackier than Yonex Supergrap and Wilson Pro, with sweat absorption close to the Supergrap, and less tacky than Tourna Mega Tac. Another said it adds little to the grip size. Those are individual opinions, not tests.

Table of what is stated about the Dunlop Super Tac overgrip: 0.55 mm on most listings, 0.60 mm on one black listing, firm ultra-tacky surface from seller copy and no padel testing published

Three, thirty or a box of singles?

Three wraps is a trial: enough to find out whether the feel suits you. If you re-grip often, the 30 pack and the 30 x 1 box are the bulk options, and the Gecko-Tac replacement grip is the tacky base-grip alternative.
