A cheap way to find out
Retailers list 0.6 mm and about 5 g, the same figures as the bigger packs, and Head says comfort and tackiness. Three wraps is enough to see whether you like the feel over a month or so of play.
If you do, step up to the twelve, which works out cheaper per grip. If you don't, you haven't tied up much.
