Karakal Headband

The Karakal Headband is an elastic cotton sweatband for padel and tennis players who want sweat off their forehead. Sportano lists the navy as 100 per cent natural cotton with an elastic weave, and Padelspeed lists its Karakal X1 headband as 100 per cent curly cotton.
Colours include white, navy and red. We found no width in any listing and no Karakal sheet, so we say that plainly.

Why cotton
Cotton soaks sweat well and feels soft against the skin, which is why retailers cite absorption and breathability. The trade-off is that a wet cotton band stays wet, so it suits a match or two rather than a long day. The elastic weave helps it stay in place on a padel court, where you move your head a lot.
Babolat's polyester Logo headband and the knotted Tie headband are the synthetic alternatives, and they dry faster.
What goes with it
A cotton alternative is the Raquex band. A wristband handles the arms, such as Babolat's Logo Wristband, and a towel such as the Medium Towel is for the change of ends. The padel accessories range has the rest of the small kit.
Who should skip it
