LOK MAXX Flow Gen 2 Padel Racket 2026
£172.50
The LOK MAXX Flow Gen 2 padel racket is LOK's top control racket: a round head, a hard 18K carbon surface on a carbon frame, a medium balance, a medium Memory EVA core and a weight of 360 to 375 g. Padelful scores its control at 9.1 and its sweet spot at 8.9, the best of LOK's round rackets.
It's for technical players who build points through placement and consistency. If you want easy power or a lively ball exit, this isn't it, and the reviews are clear about that.

Which level is the LOK MAXX FLOW GEN 2 2026 Padel Racket for?
By Tushan Das, Owner, Padel Depot · Updated
The spec sheet
RacketGuide lists the MAXX Flow Gen 2 as a round racket with a medium balance, a 38 mm carbon frame, a textured, hard 18K carbon surface and a medium Memory EVA core at 360 to 375 g, and marks the information as verified by LOK. Its technologies are an asymmetrical core, C18 carbon, Gradual Face, a Vibration Groove and 3D Spin Lines.
Padelful agrees on the round shape, the weight, the carbon frame and the C18 face, and calls the feel medium-hard. The two sources differ only in what they describe: RacketGuide gives the core's firmness and Padelful gives the whole racket's feel. Neither lists a level.

How it plays
Padelful scores it at 9.1 for control, 8.9 for sweet spot, 8.4 for power and manoeuvrability and 7.5 for rebound, 8.5 overall. It praises a huge sweet spot, a stable and predictable response and sharp volleys and blocks. It warns of limited easy power, extra effort needed in defence and a low ball exit.
Next to the diamond MAXX Hype, the same site scores the Flow nine points lower on power, level on control and rebound, and clearly higher on manoeuvrability and sweet spot. That's the round racket's usual trade, and in this case it's a good one if you value placement over pace.
| If you want | Look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Want the matching racket bag | the Maxx Gen 2 racket bag | |
| Want a round Carb-On racket | the Carb-On Flow Gen 2 | |
| The best control and sweet spot in LOK's round rackets | LOK MAXX Flow Gen 2 | 18K carbon, control 9.1 |
| A carbon-faced step down | LOK CARB-ON Flow Gen 2 | C6 carbon face |
| A comfortable, easier round racket | LOK EASY Flow Gen 2 | Medium-soft, big sweet spot |
| The gentlest first racket | LOK BE Flow Gen 2 | Fibreglass, forgiving |
| The diamond version of the MAXX | LOK MAXX Hype Gen 2 | More power, less sweet spot |
Not for you if
You want free power or a springy ball exit, or you're still learning to play. The hard 18K surface gives a low exit and limited easy power, and a beginner would be better served by the EASY or BE Flow.

The round and the diamond of the top range. Same control and rebound. The Flow trades 9 points of power for handling and sweet spot. Padelful scores out of 100 from its LOK brand page (MAXX Hype: Yanguas World edition). One site's ratings, not lab tests.
Who it suits
Technical club players who defend patiently, build points from the baseline and want a reliable racket at the net. It belongs on our control padel racket page, among the advanced padel rackets for anyone who wants control over power, and with the other carbon padel rackets. For the wider range, start at padel racket.
Looking after it
A hard 18K surface doesn't forgive knocks, so fit a racket protector and carry it in a padel bag with a racket compartment. A spare overgrip from padel grips, fresh padel balls and good padel shoes round out the kit.
