Mizuno Wave Exceed Court Padel Shoes 2026 (Unisex)
8 · £92.70
The Mizuno Wave Exceed Court padel shoes are a unisex shoe that Mizuno calls a lightweight and speed model. Its page lists a weight of 305 g, an 11 mm stack height, an Enerzy NXT midsole with nitrogen infusion over a Wave midsole, and a diagonal groove in the midfoot to help with quick turns.
Mizuno does not state a level, an outsole, sizes or the closure on the 2026 page, and last year's shoe had a different code. We separate what the brand says from what retailers add.

What Mizuno says about the Wave Exceed Court
Speed is the pitch here, where its sibling the Enforce sells comfort. The top midsole is Mizuno Enerzy NXT with nitrogen infusion, the bottom is EVA-based Enerzy NXT, and a Wave midsole sits between the foot and the floor. There is Enerzy in the forefoot and in the insole too. Mizuno says a diagonal groove across the midfoot lets a player turn at speed by following the natural movement of the body.
The upper is a two-colour mesh with a new mesh panel in the inner vamp, though the full material is not stated. Stack height is how far the foot sits above the ground, and 11 mm is a low number, which tends to mean a closer feel for the court.

What is not published, and which year you want
The 305 g figure has no size attached, and shoes weigh more as sizes go up, so treat it as a rough guide. Mizuno's 2026 page gives no outsole, but retailer listings for the 2025 version describe an X10 rubber outsole, so check that detail against what arrives. One listing also says over 90 per cent of the upper lining textile is recycled, which we have not seen on Mizuno's page.
Mind the year and the code. The 2025 padel shoe sits in the 61GB2522 series and has its own listings, and there is a clay version too. Our shoe is the 2026 padel one, so match the code on your order. A women's version also exists.

Where to go next
The more cushioned sibling is the Mizuno Wave Enforce Court, and the simpler starter is the Mizuno Break Shot 5. Two non-Mizuno alternatives are the adidas CourtQuick men's shoes and the Drop Shot Sol W. Browse the full padel shoes range, or the men's padel shoes and women's padel shoes pages.
A fast shoe pairs with a quick racket, so see our padel racket range, then padel balls and padel grips.
Who should skip them
Players who want the plushest cushioning, and anyone who needs a published outsole and size run before buying. A low, light shoe gives less underfoot padding than a thick one.
Not for you if
You want maximum cushioning or a stated outsole and size run. Mizuno sells this one on lightness and speed, and its 2026 page leaves the outsole and sizes out.
