Sweat stops here
A wet hand is the fastest way to lose a racket's feel. The wristband catches what runs down the forearm before it soaks the overgrip, which keeps the grip tacky for longer and saves you wiping your palm on your shorts between points. PadelOnline describes the fabric as cotton blended with nylon and polyester, with Nox's Balance Fresh finish for moisture.
Sports wristbands or the Pro Series pair?
Nox's older Pro Series wristbands use the same kind of cotton-blend band in a different card, with pink among the colours we've photographed. Choose on colour and pack rather than performance; nothing we've found suggests the bands themselves differ.

Not for you if
Your hands barely sweat. A wristband adds little on a cool indoor court for a dry-handed player; a fresh tacky overgrip will do more.
Keeping them fresh
Rinse or wash them after each session so salt doesn't stiffen the fabric, and let them dry fully before the next one. Two in a pack means one can dry while you wear the other, or one on each wrist. They also make an easy stocking filler from our padel gifts page.
