Raquex Enforce Hand Spray (Grip Spray, 50ml)

£13.50

The Raquex Enforce hand spray is a 50 ml anti-sweat spray for players whose hands go slick on the racket handle. Retailers say you spray it onto your hands or the grip, and that it leaves a dry, non-sticky feel with a thin film that repels sweat and adds friction.

It is listed for tennis, padel, badminton, squash, pickleball and hockey. We found no independent test, and the listings give no ingredients, so claims below are attributed to the sellers.

What the listings say about the Enforce spray

Sellers describe a spray that dries the hand and gives more friction without a sticky or chalky residue. Decathlon's listing calls it triple action, meaning it dries hands and grips, removes sweat and kills bacteria. Padelspeed says a bottle gives over 200 applications. All of that is the seller's wording, not a test result.

The product also goes by other names. Our catalogue has it as the Enforce Hand Grip Spray, and some shops list the same bottle as the Enforce Grip Spray or the Anti-Sweat Hand Spray.

Spray, overgrip or wristband?

A hand spray treats the hand, an overgrip treats the handle and a wristband stops sweat reaching either. They solve slightly different problems, and plenty of players use two of the three. A spray is the quick fix when the hand is damp, but it will not rescue a handle that has gone smooth.

For the handle, see the Raquex Evade Pro overgrip 3 pack, the Head Pro overgrip 3 pack or the Black Crown 12-pack. For the wrist, there are the Raquex double width wristbands.

Before you buy

Because no ingredients or warnings are listed, read the bottle when it arrives, and patch test it if you have sensitive skin. Try it in a practice session before relying on it in a match. Keep it off clothing and out of eyes, as you would with any spray.

More small kit is on our padel accessories page, with padel grips for the handle. A fresh handle matters more than any spray, so check the padel racket range if yours is on its last season, and carry it all in a padel bag.

Who should skip it

Anyone with sensitive skin or an aversion to sprays, and players who would rather fix the cause with a fresh overgrip. It also suits only those who play with bare hands.

Not for you if

You want tested claims or a stated ingredient list. The antibacterial and 200-application figures are sellers' wording, and the listings do not name the ingredients.

Raquex Enforce Hand Spray (Grip Spray, 50ml): questions people ask

What does the Raquex Enforce hand spray do?

Sellers say it dries the hand and leaves a thin, odourless film that repels sweat and adds friction. These are marketing claims and we found no independent test.

Is the Raquex Enforce hand spray the same as the Enforce grip spray?

Retailers list the same spray under both names, as well as Anti-Sweat Hand Spray. Check the 50 ml size on the listing.

How do you use the Raquex Enforce hand spray?

Listings say to spray it onto the hands or the grip. They give no amount, drying time or reapply interval, so test it before a match.

How many uses are in a bottle of Raquex Enforce spray?

Padelspeed says over 200 applications per bottle. That is a seller figure, and your own number depends on how much you spray.

Does the Raquex Enforce spray replace an overgrip?

No. A spray treats the hand, while an overgrip treats the handle. Many players use both.
