Siux Beat Kid 2 Padel Racket

A round head puts the sweet spot in the middle, a low balance keeps the weight towards the handle so the racket is easier to swing, and a soft core takes sting out of mishits. Those three choices suit a child who is learning to find the ball, not hit it hard. Fibreglass keeps the frame forgiving and hard-wearing.

Siux's Optimus 5 Air is a lighter fibreglass racket for a small adult or a bigger child, if the Kid is outgrown.

No retailer gives a length or weight for the Beat Kid 2, so we cannot say which age it fits. Generic junior guidance puts shorter rackets on younger children, so a parent should check the listing or ask before ordering. Our kids padel racket page lists the junior range, and our guide to choosing a padel racket covers shape and balance.

Taller teenagers and adults, who will outgrow a junior racket quickly. The best padel racket for beginners page lists adult-sized beginner rackets, including Babolat's Counter Origin. Kit for a child is simple: a tacky overgrip from the padel grips page, a tube from the padel balls range and, once they play regularly, a pair of padel shoes. The Siux padel rackets page covers the brand, and the padel racket range has the rest.
