What the Athena 3K is
A teardrop shape sits between the rounded control rackets and the top-heavy diamonds. The seller says the medium balance suits both defensive and attacking shots, which is the usual claim for this shape.
The 3K weave is a softer, more flexible carbon than the 12K and 18K faces on the other Tenax rackets, and the medium EVA core fits that. We found one source for all of this, so treat it as the seller's description, not a lab measurement. If you want a teardrop padel racket with a forgiving face, it is a fair place to start.
Athena 3K against the rest of the range
Next to the Gladiator 12K it shares the teardrop shape and medium balance, but the Gladiator has a harder 12K face and a stated 38 mm profile. If you would rather have a rounder shape, the Guardian Full Carbon is lower in balance.
