Volt 600 V5 Padel Racket (2026)

£243.60

The Volt 600 V5 padel racket is a round control racket of 350 to 370 g with a 12K twill aluminised carbon face and a black EVA core, for intermediate and advanced players who want precision with a little more bite. Padelshop's listing calls it a round control racket with a bit more power than usual and the successor to the Volt 800.

The sources agree on almost everything. Only the balance wording differs, low on Volt's page and medium-low on Padelshop's.

A round racket with a harder face

Round rackets put the sweet spot in the middle of the head, so they forgive a lot and reward placement. The 600 V5 keeps that, but trades the 3K face of the 500 for a 12K twill aluminised carbon one, which gives a firmer, more direct response on volleys and bandejas.

Padelshop also lists a 3K carbon frame, a 3D surface for spin and a 38 mm profile. Volt's page adds that a cover and protector are included.

Weight bands and what low balance means here

Volt sells in 5 g weight bands you choose at checkout, so the exact weight depends on your pick, anywhere from 350 to 370 g. Both sources agree on that range.

Low balance means more of the mass sits in the handle, which makes the racket quick to bring around for blocks and defensive volleys. If you hit a lot of overheads, ask whether you would trade that for a heavier head before you commit.

Volt 600, 500, 700 or the old 800

The Volt 500 V5 is the softer round racket with a 3K face. The Volt 700 V5 moves to a medium-balance teardrop. The older Volt 800 V4 is the racket Padelshop says the 600 replaces, though we have no spec sheet for it.
