The Volt 950 V4 padel racket is a high-balance diamond of about 360 g with a rough 3D surface, built for advanced players with an offensive style. Padelgids describes it as offering extreme power, with the sweet spot sitting high on the face.
It is the previous generation of the 950. The current Volt 950 V5 has a Comfort EVA core and a 24K silver aluminised face, so check which one you are looking at.

Which level is the Volt 950 V4 2024 Padel Racket for?

A power racket from the V4 generation
A diamond head moves the weight to the top of the frame, which is why overheads and smashes feel heavy and why volleys can feel slow. Padelgids lists a Fast recovery Black EVA core, a rough 3D surface for spin and a 38 mm profile, and says a cover is included.
Padelgids and the retailers we checked all say advanced. One seller adds that it is not the easiest racket for beginners, which is fair for any head-heavy diamond.
Which carbon is it? The listings disagree
Padelgids names a 15K silver frame and a rough surface made of 3K carbon. Other listings say a 15K carbon face, and one calls it a 3K carbon structure. We could not get Volt's own spec sheet for the V4, so we cannot say which wording is right.
What is consistent is the diamond shape, the high balance, the black EVA core and a weight around 360 g, with 350 to 370 g quoted as the range. Our catalogue tag agrees: diamond, high, about 360 g.
950 V4 or the 950 V5
The Volt 950 V5 is the current diamond with a Comfort EVA core, and the Volt 1000 V5 is the flagship. If you want a power racket with a lower balance, the Volt 900 V5 is the teardrop.
