Volt 950 V5 Padel Racket (2026)

A diamond head with a high balance puts the weight at the top of the frame. That makes overheads and smashes heavy and volleys a touch slower, which suits players who finish points at the net and are happy to give up some forgiveness for punch.

Volt sells the racket in four 5 g weight bands, from 350 to 355 g up to 366 to 370 g, so you choose how much weight to carry. A cover and protector come with it, and the brand lists a Dynamic Holes System and flexible shock absorption.

The 950 V5 uses a Black Comfort EVA core where the 1000 V5 lists a plain Black EVA. The name suggests a gentler feel, but Volt gives no hardness figure, so we cannot tell you how much softer it is. Padelshop's listings just say black EVA.

If your arm is sensitive and you still want a diamond, that is the reason to try this one over the 1000. We would not promise more than that without a test.

The Volt 1000 V5 is the flagship with the same 24K face, and the Volt 950 V4 is the previous-generation diamond. For something less head-heavy, the Volt 900 V5 is the teardrop.
