adidas Adipower 10th Anniversary Padel Racket

£221

The adidas Adipower 10th Anniversary padel racket is an oversize diamond for advanced players who want power from a head-heavy frame. Its face is 18K aluminised carbon, its core is EVA High Memory, and it is 38 mm thick with a 460 cm2 hitting surface, according to adidas's licensee, All For Padel.

Be careful about the weight. The licensee sheet gives 315 to 330 g and calls it light. Other retailers list 355 to 375 g for what looks like the same racket. We found no independent review, so this page tells you what is published, where it disagrees and who should walk past it.

What the Adipower 10th Anniversary is

The Adipower line was adidas's pro-level power range before the Metalbone took over. The 10th Anniversary racket marks a decade of it, and the licensee sheet describes it as aiming for a balance of power and control. The sweet spot is listed at the top of the face, as you would expect from a diamond.

The frame carries a double-height carbon rib structure that adidas calls Dual Exoskeleton, with a perimeter rib for stiffness. The face has a textured Spin Blade surface and a curved hole pattern for spin. None of this has been tested independently that we can find, so treat the claims as the brand's own.

One more naming wrinkle: retailers also call it the Adipower 10 Anniversary, the Adipower Legend 10th Anniversary, or add 2025 or 2026. They appear to be listings of the same racket.

Range chart of weights listed for the adidas Adipower 10th Anniversary: 315 to 330 g on the licensee sheet against 355 to 375 g on three retailer listings

Which weight is right?

This is the question to settle before you buy. A 315 to 330 g head-heavy diamond is a light, fast racket that rewards technique. A 360 to 375 g one is a heavy hitter that will tire a casual arm. They are not the same product to use, and we cannot tell you which is on the box.

The licensee's own page is inconsistent too: its description mentions a 3K carbon surface while its spec table says 18K aluminised. If weight or face matters to you, weigh the racket when it arrives.

Who should skip the Anniversary

Anyone still building their game, and anyone who gets arm trouble. An oversize head-heavy diamond with a high sweet spot punishes off-centre hits, and the licensee's own sheet flags it for pro-level players. If control is what you want, our control padel rackets page and the round Metalbone Ctrl are better starting points.

Not for you if

You are a beginner or an improver, you want a big forgiving sweet spot, or you cannot live with weight uncertainty. This is a specialist racket with disputed specs.

Setting up a diamond racket

A stiff 18K face deserves a racket protector and a fresh adidas overgrip; more choices live on the padel grips page. Pair it with adidas Speed RX balls and see the padel balls page, then check padel shoes for a court that matches your footwork.

adidas Adipower 10th Anniversary Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Adipower 10th Anniversary the same as the Adipower Legend?

No. The licensee lists the Legend 2025 as a 3K carbon diamond with an EVA Soft Performance core, and the 10th Anniversary as an 18K aluminised carbon diamond with EVA High Memory. Some retailers add Legend to the Anniversary name.

How heavy is the adidas Adipower 10th Anniversary?

It depends on the source. The licensee sheet says 315 to 330 g. Other retailers list 355 to 375 g. Weigh it on arrival if it matters.

Is the Adipower 10th Anniversary a beginner racket?

No. It is an oversize head-heavy diamond listed at pro level, with a high sweet spot. Beginners are better served by round, softer rackets.

Is the Adipower 10th Anniversary a 2025 or 2026 racket?

Retailers list it under both years and the licensee gives no release year. It appears to be one racket, so check the listing you buy.

How does the Anniversary compare with the Metalbone?

Both are head-heavy diamonds. The Metalbone is the current flagship range, while the Anniversary is a one-off tribute to the older Adipower line.

How do I protect a carbon padel racket?

Fit a protector on the frame, keep it out of hot cars and avoid glass hits with the edge. A stiff face is less forgiving of knocks.
