Babolat Cover Padel Racket Sleeve

£4.50

The Babolat Cover Padel is a protective sleeve with a carrying strap for one racket, for players who want to keep the frame clear of scratches in a gym bag or on the way to the court. Babolat's page for the Cover Padel gives 100% polyester, made in China, one size, in black or Tanager Turquoise.

It publishes no dimensions, padding or closure details, so this page says what a cover is for and where it stops being enough.

What a cover does, and does not

A cover keeps a racket from rubbing against keys, a bottle or the zip of a bag, and it lets you carry one racket with nothing else. That is all Babolat claims for it. Some retailers also say padded or thermally insulated, but Babolat's own page does not, so we leave that out. It is a sleeve, not a bag, and not a replacement for one.

Padel rackets have a standard maximum size, so a padel cover should take any legal racket. We have no measurement from Babolat to confirm the fit, and a thick racket with a protector fitted may be snug.

Padel cover or the padel and pickleball cover?

A cover with a zipped inside pocket is the Raquex cover with an inner pocket. Babolat sells a second cover, the padel and pickleball racket cover, which is also 100% polyester with a strap and takes a pickleball paddle too. The padel-only cover here is the plain version, and the Dunlop cover is a black single-racket alternative. Both are slim, so for more than a racket you want a bag from the padel bags page.

The Court Lite backpack holds one racket in its own compartment, and the RH Pro is the full-kit bag.

Who should skip it

Anyone who needs padding, a thermal pocket or space for a bottle and shoes. A cover guards against scratches, not against a drop or a hot car. If your racket already lives in a good bag, the cover adds little, and the padel racket protector range does a different job on the frame itself. See the full padel racket range for what goes inside.

Not for you if

You want published dimensions or insulation. Babolat lists neither for this cover, so treat it as a plain protective sleeve.

Babolat Cover Padel Racket Sleeve: questions people ask

Is the Babolat padel racket cover padded?

Babolat does not say so on its page. Some retailers describe padding or insulation, but we do not repeat claims Babolat does not make.

Will a padel racket fit in the Babolat cover?

It is sold as a padel racket cover, so it should. Babolat gives no dimensions, so a racket with a thick protector may be snug.

What is the difference between the Babolat padel cover and the padel and pickleball cover?

The padel and pickleball cover is a separate product that also takes a pickleball paddle. Both are 100% polyester with a strap.

Does the Babolat padel cover come in colours?

Babolat lists black and Tanager Turquoise. Check the colour on the listing.
