Babolat Court Lite Backpack (25 L, 1 Racket)

£31.99

The Babolat Court Lite backpack is a slim 25-litre backpack with a dedicated compartment for one racket, a main compartment and a zipped pocket. It suits a player who commutes to the court with one racket and a change of clothes and wants something lighter than a holdall.

Babolat's page describes it as tailored for padel players in one place and as a tennis bag in another. The capacity is the same either way: one racquet, in its own compartment.

It is 18 x 29 x 50 cm and made from 100 per cent recycled polyester, with a recycled PET outer and a dye-free lining.

What fits in the Court Lite backpack

Babolat's UK page lists a racquet compartment, a main compartment and a zipped pocket, with two straps and a top handle. The bag is 18 x 29 x 50 cm, which is slim: the racket goes in its own space and the main compartment takes a change of clothes, a towel and a bottle.

A pair of padel shoes will not sit comfortably beside the rest, since Babolat lists no separate shoe pocket. A tube of balls and a spare overgrip fit in the zipped pocket or the main compartment.

Court Lite or a bigger Babolat bag?

The Court Backpack Hero is the next size up at 30 litres, with room for two racquets and a laptop pocket. The Court S is a 35-litre holdall for two rackets, and the RH Pro is the full tour bag at 62 litres. The Lite is also sold in a blue colourway.

The Lite is the right bag if you play with one racket and travel light, or if you want a slim second bag. If you carry a spare racket, a laptop or wet shoes, go up a size.

Who should skip the Court Lite

Anyone who carries two rackets, a laptop or a wet pair of shoes (Siux's Pro Tour backpack lists a shoe compartment, though no size). One racquet compartment, a single main compartment and no thermal or shoe pocket make it a light-kit bag. Our padel bags page explains the shapes, and the bigger bags have separate shoe sections.

Not for you if

You carry a spare racket, a laptop or wet shoes. The Lite holds one racquet and lists no shoe or thermal pocket. The padel bags range has bigger options.

What to put in the Court Lite

One racket from our padel racket range fits the racquet compartment, for example the forgiving Air Origin or the round Counter Origin. A spare overgrip from the padel grips page fits the zipped pocket, and a slim racket cover protects the head.

A tube of padel balls fits in the main compartment, and the padel shoes page covers court shoes for the bag you carry them in. Our guide to choosing a padel racket helps if you are choosing the racket too.
