The Bullpadel Grip Custom Weight kit is a pair of screw-in weights, 5g and 10g, that fit the end of the handle on Bullpadel's Pro Line rackets, for players who want a racket to feel steadier and more controlled without making the head heavier.
Despite the name it isn't a grip tape. It's a small weight that sits in the butt cap, with a screwdriver in the pack to fit it. Bullpadel's own packaging sums it up as 5g for control and 10g for more control.

What weight at the handle actually does
Add mass near your hand and the racket's balance point moves down towards the handle. The head feels lighter in the swing, the racket turns faster at the net, and it's steadier when a hard ball hits it off-centre, because there's simply more of it. That's the opposite of the Custom Weight 4 x 3g plates, which sit on the top of the frame and add power to the smash.
The UK trade listing says the kit fits only Bullpadel's Pro Line rackets. Decathlon's listing for the Vertex 04 Comfort notes its grip cap can be swapped for a heavier one of 5 to 10g, which is the system this kit belongs to. If your racket's butt cap has no screw, it won't take the weight.
5g or 10g
Start with the 5g. It's enough to notice as a calmer, more planted racket without making the whole thing feel heavy, and you can swap to the 10g later with the same screwdriver. Give each change a couple of sessions before you judge it; the first hit with any new weight feels odd.

Who should leave it
If your racket already feels sluggish, more weight anywhere is the wrong fix; a lighter frame from our padel racket range is. And if it isn't a Bullpadel Pro Line racket, the weight won't fit.
Not for you if
Your racket isn't a Bullpadel with a screw-fit butt cap, or you want more power rather than more control.
Finish the handle
