How the Space 2.0 plays

Padelful's reviewer calls it a racket that is neither a power frame nor a soft control frame. It is stable and predictable from the baseline, gives a clean bandeja with depth and volleys with good bite, and has a forgiving enough sweet spot for off-centre contact. The víbora has decent bite but leans towards control.

The cons are fair ones. Power is limited when you want it for free, mishits are less forgiving than on a softer racket, and defending demands clean timing. The review says it rewards clean mechanics and does not hide sloppy technique.

Where the sources do not agree

Padelful lists the head as a tear shape, and Padel Racket Reviews calls it a hybrid. Padelful's spec table lists a carbon frame while its review text mentions a fibreglass one, so the page contradicts itself. Balance is described in the review as fairly neutral to slightly head-oriented.

Weight is given as 355 to 370 without a unit, which we read as grams. Weigh the racket when it arrives and judge the balance in hand. Level is not stated; the review suggests all-court players.

Setting it up

Fit a racket protector and a fresh overgrip from the padel grips range. Fresh padel balls suit a medium core, and the right padel shoes help with the early preparation it rewards. A padel bag with a thermal side protects the face from heat.

Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Who should skip it

Beginners and anyone who wants free power from the smash. The beginner padel rackets page is a gentler start, and the intermediate padel rackets page covers the step above.

Not for you if

You want easy power or a forgiving racket on mishits. Padelful lists limited easy-access power and says defending demands clean timing.
