Enebe Mustang 3K Padel Racket: Silver 2026

£153.90

The Enebe Mustang 3K padel racket, sold as the Mustang Silver 3K for 2026, is an attacker for intermediate to advanced players: a 3K carbon face over a medium EVA core, a head-heavy balance and a listed weight of 355 to 370 g. Padelful scores it 8.4 overall, with power at 8.9.

The reviewer calls it a finisher's racket, with strong ball exit, good smash assistance and stable volleys. The price is defence that needs early preparation and touch shots that are less refined. Sources disagree on whether the head is a diamond, a teardrop or a hybrid.

Mustang Silver 3K review: the smash is the point

Padelful's scores are power 8.9, rebound 8.5, control 8.2, manoeuvrability 8.1 and sweet spot 8.1, for 8.4 overall. That is a balanced profile with one clear peak. The reviewer lists strong ball exit, good smash assistance and stability on volleys as the pros, and says the smash is where the racket stands out most.

The cons are the usual ones for a head-heavy racket: defence needs early preparation, handling slows late in the swing and delicate touch shots are less refined. If your net game is about putting the ball away, that is a fair trade. If you spend your points defending, it is not.

Mustang Silver 3K or Mustang Gold 15K?

The Mustang line has several faces. The Silver has a 3K carbon face over a medium EVA core, while the Mustang Gold 15K has a 15K carbon face over a softer professional EVA and a medium-hard feel. In Padelful's numbers the Silver is the more powerful, 8.9 against 8.5, and the Gold is the more controlled, 8.5 against 8.2.

Shape is the other split. Padelful calls the Silver a diamond and the Gold a tear. Stringers World lists the Silver as a teardrop and Decathlon Switzerland calls it a hybrid diamond, so we are treating it as a head-heavy attacker between teardrop and diamond. Our own listing says teardrop with medium balance, which is worth checking in hand. For a livelier, spin-friendly Mustang, the Esmerald 15K has the best rebound and sweet spot, and for a lower-powered carbon Enebe the Response 24K Violet is crisp at the net, and the Response 3K Evo is a firm, high-balance alternative. A cheaper-tier power diamond from the same brand is the Suburban Green 12K, and the Suburban Silver 3K is cheaper again. For a stiffer, harder diamond from another brand, see the Hirostar Alien Pro.

Who should skip the Mustang Silver 3K

Beginners, defenders and anyone who needs agreed specs before buying. Pair it with a lively ball like the Enebe Pro Bounce. A teardrop with an even balance, such as the Enebe Aerox 7.1 V2, is the gentler 3K choice. A head-heavy racket asks you to get set early, and the sources disagree on shape and balance. Newer players should look at our beginner padel rackets page, while the diamond padel racket and advanced padel rackets pages cover the attacking field.

Not for you if

You are new to padel, you defend a lot or you want a settled shape and balance. The review says defence needs early preparation and sources split on shape.

Setting up a Mustang Silver 3K

Fit a racket protector and a fresh overgrip from the padel grips range. Consistent padel balls and good padel shoes matter for a racket that rewards early preparation, and a padel bag with a thermal pocket protects the face.
