Enebe Mustang Esmerald 15K Padel Racket (2026)

£185.70

The Enebe Mustang Esmerald 15K padel racket is the spin and defence version of the Mustang: a tear-shaped head, a 15K carbon face with a 3D rough texture over a soft-density professional EVA core, listed at 355 to 370 g with a medium-hard feel. It is for intermediate to advanced players who build points with depth and angles.

Padelful's scores put rebound at 9.5 and sweet spot at 9.0, the best in the Mustang range, with power at 8.2. The review warns that smashes depend on clean acceleration. Note the spelling: the brand and retailers write Esmerald, not Emerald.

Mustang Esmerald 15K review: a lively face for blocks, angles and spin

The pros are strong ball exit on defensive blocks, a stable response from the baseline under pressure and a face that grips the ball for spin-heavy vibora and angled volleys. The scores are rebound 9.5, sweet spot 9.0, control 8.5, power 8.2 and manoeuvrability 8.0.

The cons are the flip side of that liveliness. Smashes depend on clean acceleration, the lively exit asks for a delicate touch and a poor contact will not finish a point. It rewards a player who places the ball and hits through the middle of the face, more than one who swings from the heels.

Grouped bar chart of Padelful ratings for the Enebe Mustang Esmerald 15K, Gold 15K and Silver 3K on power, control, rebound and sweet spot

Which Mustang: Esmerald, Gold or Silver?

The three Mustangs aim at different jobs. The Mustang Silver 3K is the powerful, head-heavy finisher with power at 8.9. The Mustang Gold 15K is the more controlled one with stable, punchy volleys. The Esmerald sits between them in shape and goes furthest on rebound and sweet spot.

Balance is unpublished for the Esmerald, and the review expects medium. Level is given as intermediate to advanced by Padelful and advanced by one retailer. Weigh it when it arrives and judge the balance in hand.
