Hirostar Alien Pro Padel Racket

£309.99

The Hirostar Alien Pro padel racket is a stiff, head-heavy diamond for advanced and expert attackers: a 24K carbon face over an EVA Black X-Treme core on a 100 per cent carbon frame, listed at 365 to 380 g with a high balance. Retailers describe it as firm and not forgiving.

It is the harder end of the Hirostar range, and one retailer tells beginners, intermediates and control-first players to look at the Alien Core instead. We found no independent review, so these specs come from retailer listings.

What the Alien Pro is made of

The listings are consistent: a diamond head, a high balance, a 24K carbon face with a matte sandblasted finish, an EVA Black X-Treme core and a carbon frame. The size is quoted as 38 mm thick, 485 cm2 in the head and 45.5 cm long, and the weight as 365 to 380 g. No one publishes a balance figure in millimetres or a sweet-spot position.

That spec sheet describes a racket built for mass at the head. It maximises inertia on overheads and costs you forgiveness lower on the face. If you hit the middle of the face consistently and swing decisively, that is the point. If you do not, it is a very hard racket to enjoy.

Alien Pro or Alien Core?

The Hirostar Alien Core shares the diamond head and the weight band but swaps the 24K face for 12K and the core for a standard EVA Black, with a medium to high balance. Retailers call it the more controlled option and point intermediates and control-first players towards it. The Pro is aimed at advanced to expert attackers, and the Hirostar Junior Alien is the light junior in the family, while the Hirostar Redstone has a lower-count 18K face. An older, lower-count option is the Hirostar Blackstone, an 18K diamond labelled 2024 or 2025.

Another attacker with a high balance is the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red. Outside the Hirostar line, the closest rackets are the Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0, which has independent scores, and the Enebe Mustang Silver 3K, a head-heavy attacker at a gentler level.

Who should skip the Alien Pro

Beginners, intermediates, defenders and anyone with arm trouble. A 24K head-heavy diamond with no independent review is a big gamble if your technique is still developing. Newer players should start with our beginner padel rackets page, and stronger players can compare attackers on the advanced padel rackets and diamond padel racket pages.

Not for you if

You are still developing, you play a control-first game or you want a racket with independent reviews. Retailers describe the Alien Pro as firm and not forgiving.

Setting up an Alien Pro

Fit a racket protector and a cushioned overgrip from the padel grips range, which helps with a stiff frame. Consistent padel balls and good padel shoes matter for a racket that rewards early preparation, and a padel bag with a thermal pocket protects the face.

Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Hirostar Alien Pro Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Hirostar Alien Pro the same as the Alien Core?

No. The Pro has a 24K face, an X-Treme core and a high, head-heavy balance. The Core has a 12K face and a more controlled character.

Is the Hirostar Alien Pro good for intermediate players?

Retailers say no. They aim it at advanced to expert attackers and point intermediates to the Alien Core.

Is the Hirostar Alien Pro head heavy?

Yes. Listings give a high balance and describe the weight pushed to the head, though no one publishes a figure in millimetres.

How heavy is the Hirostar Alien Pro?

Listings give 365 to 380 g. A head-heavy balance can make it feel heavier, so pick by feel in hand.

Is the Hirostar Alien Pro forgiving?

No. Retailers call it firm and not forgiving, and it rewards players who find the sweet spot consistently.

Is there a review of the Hirostar Alien Pro?

We found only a brief article and retailer copy. Padelful has no scores for it, so treat the specs as manufacturer-informed.
