Hirostar Blackstone Padel Racket

£248.99

The Hirostar Blackstone padel racket is a diamond-shaped attacker for stronger players: an 18K carbon face over an EVA Black core rubber, a high or medium-high balance and a listed weight of 360 or 365 to 375 g. It sits a step below the newer Alien Pro in stiffness, with the same 485 cm2 head and 45.5 cm length.

We could not find an independent review or a brand sheet, so every figure here comes from retailer listings, and those listings label the racket 2024 or 2025. Our own listing carries no year, so check what arrives against the figures below.

What retailers publish about the Blackstone

The listings agree on the broad picture: a diamond head, a 485 cm2 hitting surface, 45.5 cm long and 38 mm thick, with an 18K carbon face in a matte sandblasted finish and an EVA Black core rubber. One listing adds an aerodynamic bridge with anti-vibration inserts. None gives a balance figure in millimetres or a sweet-spot position.

Where they disagree is worth knowing before you buy. The weight is 360 g at the low end on one page and 365 g on others, with 375 g at the top. Balance is called high on one listing and medium-high on another. The frame is 18K on one page and 3K carbon on a 2025 listing. These are small gaps, but they mean you should weigh the racket when it arrives and not treat any single number as fixed.

Which season is the Blackstone?

Retailers label it 2024 in some places and 2025 in others, and we found no 2026 Blackstone. Hirostar's 2026 range, as stockists list it, is built around the Alien, Solar and Andromeda lines. Treat the Blackstone as an outgoing model: it is a fair buy if the shape and feel suit you, but it is not the current flagship.

The Hirostar Redstone is the other 18K diamond in the line, and its listings argue about balance. That also explains the comparison below. The Hirostar Alien Pro is the stiffer, current diamond with a 24K face and an X-Treme core. The Blackstone has the older, lower-count 18K face and a plainer core, which should make it somewhat easier to live with, though no source tests that claim.

Who should skip the Blackstone

Beginners, defenders and anyone with a sore elbow or shoulder. A diamond with a high balance asks you to hit the middle of the face and to swing early, and nobody has published a review we can point you to. If you are new to the sport, start with the beginner padel rackets page. If you want a rounder, steadier shape, the control padel rackets page is the place.

Stronger players who like attacking from the net can compare the Blackstone with the wider field on the diamond padel racket and advanced padel rackets pages.

Not for you if

You want a forgiving racket, a current-season model or independent test scores. The Blackstone is a diamond with a high or medium-high balance, labelled 2024 or 2025, with retailer specs only.

Setting up a Blackstone

Fit a racket protector and a cushioned overgrip from the padel grips range, since a head-biased diamond can feel harsh on the hand. Fresh padel balls keep the pace honest, good padel shoes help with the early preparation this shape demands, and a padel bag with a thermal pocket protects the face from heat.

Hirostar Blackstone Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Hirostar Blackstone a 2025 racket?

Retailers label it 2024 in some places and 2025 in others, and we found no 2026 version. Our listing carries no year, so check the figures against what arrives.

What is the difference between the Hirostar Blackstone and the Alien Pro?

The Blackstone has an 18K face and an EVA Black core rubber. The Alien Pro has a 24K face and an EVA Black X-Treme core, and it is the stiffer, current racket.

Is the Hirostar Blackstone round or diamond?

Diamond, on every listing we found. That puts the sweet spot higher on the face than a round racket.

Is the Hirostar Blackstone head heavy?

Listings call the balance high or medium-high, so it leans towards the head. No one publishes a figure in millimetres.

How heavy is the Hirostar Blackstone?

Retailers give 360 or 365 to 375 g. Weights vary by sample, so weigh yours when it arrives.

Is there a review of the Hirostar Blackstone?

We found none, and Padelful has no scores for it. The specs come from retailer listings, so treat them as a guide.
