Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 Padel Racket (2026)

£134.06

The Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 padel racket is a power diamond for advanced players: a 24K carbon face over a High Density EVA Pro core, a high, head-heavy balance and a listed weight of 350 to 370 g. Drop Shot prints its play as 70 per cent power and 30 per cent control.

Padelful scores its power at 9.5 and its overall at 8.5, and its manoeuvrability at 7.3. It is a racket for finishing points, and it is firm, demanding on defence and short on comfort.

Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 review: a smash racket first, everything else second

Padelful's ratings run power 9.5, control 8.9, rebound 8.5, sweet spot 8.2 and manoeuvrability 7.3. The pros are serious smash power, stable and aggressive net play and clean bandeja and vibora. The cons are the mirror image: defence asks for technique, quick blocks feel demanding and the firm feel gives little comfort.

Drop Shot says it co-designed the racket with its ambassador Pablo Lima. That is a brand statement we pass on, not a claim about what any pro uses today. What matters for you is the build: a diamond head with the weight up high wants a full swing and good timing, and it punishes a late, short stab.

How power-heavy is a 70/30 racket?

Most advanced rackets from the brands we cover are printed at 60 and 40, or 50 and 50 for beginner rackets. The Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 sits at 70 power and 30 control, which is as far toward power as Drop Shot goes. A 24K face and a high-density core add the stiffness behind that number.

If that sounds like too much racket, the Black Crown Special Max is the closest alternative we sell: a teardrop with a 60 and 40 split and a firmer face. The Black Crown Patron Kore is another head-biased attacker for the same player, and the softer Canyon Pro Attack Soft keeps the shape with a gentler feel. For a lower-scored diamond that still attacks, see the Enebe Suburban Green 12K, or the more controlled Hirostar Alien Core. The stiffer Hirostar Alien Pro is a similar head-heavy 24K diamond with no independent scores.

Who should skip the Canyon Pro Attack 2.0

Anyone still building technique, and anyone who spends most points defending. The diamond head has a small sweet spot and the head-heavy balance slows your hands, so it suits strong, attacking players. Our advanced padel rackets and diamond padel racket pages compare the whole attacking field, and beginners are better served by our beginner padel rackets.

Not for you if

You are still learning, you defend a lot or you have a sensitive elbow. The feel is firm, manoeuvrability is 7.3 and the review says defence needs technique.

Setting up a Canyon Pro Attack 2.0

Fit a racket protector first, then a cushioned overgrip from the padel grips range, which helps with the firm feel. Consistent padel balls and good padel shoes matter for a racket that rewards early preparation, and a padel bag with a thermal pocket protects the face.

Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 Padel Racket (2026): questions people ask

Is the Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 the same as the Axion Attack 2.0?

No. They are separate 2026 rackets. The Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 is a diamond printed at 70 power and 30 control, and the Axion Attack 2.0 is a teardrop printed at 60 and 40.

Is the Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 good for intermediate players?

It is aimed at advanced players. A strong intermediate who already attacks may enjoy it, but the firm feel and head-heavy balance punish poor timing.

Is the Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 head heavy?

Yes. Padelful and the brand describe a high, head-heavy balance, though no one publishes a figure in millimetres.

How powerful is the Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0?

Padelful scores power at 9.5 out of 10. Drop Shot prints 70 per cent power and 30 per cent control.

How heavy is the Drop Shot Canyon Pro Attack 2.0?

Listings give 350 to 370 g. Pick by feel in hand, since a head-heavy racket can feel heavier than the number.

What frame does the Canyon Pro Attack 2.0 have?

Drop Shot lists a double carbon tube. One review page says carbon in its table and fibreglass in its text, so we go with the brand.
