Hirostar Redstone Padel Racket

£248.95

The Hirostar Redstone padel racket is a diamond-shaped racket for advanced players: an 18K carbon face over a Black EVA core, a carbon tubular frame with an anti-vibration bridge, and a listed weight of about 360 g. The head is 485 cm2 and the racket is 45.5 cm long.

The big question is balance. Some 2026 listings call it low or medium-low, which is unusual for a diamond, while others say high. We found no brand sheet or independent scores, so check the balance with the seller before you rely on it.

What stockists publish about the Redstone

Most listings agree on the build: a diamond head, an 18K carbon face with a matte sandblasted finish, a Black EVA core and a 100 per cent carbon tubular frame, 38 mm thick. The 2026 listings give 360 g for the main model. Older listings give 365 to 380 g, and a French retailer says 360 to 375 g, so weights differ by season and shop.

Stockists describe it as an advanced racket and name the anti-vibration bridge as its main feature. One listing calls the shape a teardrop, but it is the outlier. Treat the Redstone as a diamond unless your racket says otherwise.

Low balance or high balance?

This is where the listings fall apart. Several 2026 retailers say low or medium-low balance. Doit Tennis and a French retailer say high, and a 2024 South African listing says intermediate. A diamond with a low balance would play very differently from one with a high balance: easier on the arm and quicker at the net, but with less weight behind overheads.

It may be that the model changed between seasons, or that retailers copied each other. We cannot tell which, and our listing carries no year. If balance matters to you, ask us or pick a racket with a published millimetre figure, such as the Hirostar Alien Pro at the head-heavy end or the Hirostar Alien Core a notch softer.

Who should skip the Redstone

Beginners, defenders and anyone who needs a verified spec sheet. A diamond rewards a clean strike near the top of the face, and the conflicting balance claims make it hard to know what you are getting. For a rounder, more defensive Hirostar, the Hirostar Solar is the one. Newer players should start on the beginner padel rackets page, and attackers can compare options on the diamond padel racket and advanced padel rackets pages.

Not for you if

You need a confirmed balance, an independent review or a specific season. Listings for the Redstone disagree on balance, shape and weight, and our listing carries no year.

Setting up a Redstone

Fit a racket protector and a cushioned overgrip from the padel grips range. Fresh padel balls keep the pace honest, padel shoes help with the early preparation a diamond needs, and a padel bag with a thermal pocket protects the face.
