Royal Padel Japan Pro Red Padel Racket 2026

£159.21

The Royal Padel Japan Pro Red is a 2026 diamond-shaped racket with a high balance, a 100 per cent carbon frame and a soft polyethylene core, for offensive players who want power at the net and on the smash. One listing gives the weight as 360 to 380 g.

Our catalogue calls it the RP Jpn Pro and labels it a junior racket, but every retailer we found sells it as an adult attacking racket, so this page treats it that way. The face material is described two ways, so we say where sources disagree.

What the Japan Pro Red is, and why it is not a junior

Retailers describe a powerful diamond with an oversize head and a high balance, aimed at demanding, attacking players. Decathlon's marketplace listing calls it the RP Jpn Pro Red, and Padel Point, Esprit Padel and Padel Market sell it as the Japan Pro Red 2026, which is the same racket. One listing tags the level as expert.

Nothing we found describes a junior version. The junior and kids tags in our own catalogue look like a data error, and we have flagged them to be fixed. If you are buying for a young player, the lighter and rounder options on our kids padel racket page are the safer place to start.

Card grid for the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red 2026: diamond shape, high balance, carbon frame, soft poly core, weight and level stated by retailers; face material conflicting and thickness and length not stated

Where the sources disagree

The core is consistent: a soft polyethylene core, called Soft Poly Core on one page. The face is not. One summary says several layers of fibreglass, softening shots while keeping the racket stiff, and Padel Point says a hybrid Fibertech and carbon surface with a rough, sand-effect texture. Both agree on a textured face for spin.

The weight, 360 to 380 g, comes from a single listing, and nobody gives a thickness, length or balance figure in millimetres. That makes the balance word, high, the main guide: expect weight in the head, which helps power and punishes a late swing.

Table comparing the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red 2026 and M27 Light 2026 on shape, balance, weight and who each suits

Japan Pro Red or something softer?

If a head-heavy diamond is more than you want, the round Royal Padel M27 Light is the control end of the range. Other diamonds to compare are the Hirostar Alien Pro and the Hirostar Blackstone. More attackers are on the diamond padel racket and advanced padel rackets pages.

Fit a racket protector and a fresh overgrip from the padel grips range. Add padel balls and padel shoes, then see the full padel racket range.

Who should skip it

Beginners, juniors, defenders and anyone with arm trouble. A high-balance diamond rewards a clean swing and punishes mistakes, and there is no independent review to lean on.

Not for you if

You are still learning, buying for a child or want a forgiving racket. It is sold as an attacking diamond for advanced players, and the face material and exact balance are not confirmed.

Royal Padel Japan Pro Red Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

Is the Royal Padel RP Jpn Pro Red a junior racket?

No. Every retailer we found sells it as an adult attacking racket, the Japan Pro Red 2026. The junior label in our catalogue looks like an error.

Is the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red the same as the Japan Pro 2025?

No. The 2025 Japan Pro is a separate listing, so check the year on the page you are buying.

Is the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red head heavy?

Listings call the balance high, so it leans towards the head. No one publishes a millimetre figure.

What is the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red made of?

A 100 per cent carbon frame and a soft polyethylene core. The face is described as fibreglass on one listing and a Fibertech and carbon hybrid on another.

Is the Royal Padel Japan Pro Red good for intermediate players?

Retailers aim it at demanding, offensive and advanced to expert players. A softer round racket is usually kinder to an intermediate.

Not sure the Royal Padel RP Jpn Pro Red Padel Racket is the one? Compare it with every other padel racket we stock, sorted by level, shape and weight, and the kids padel rackets page narrows it to your level.
