Royal Padel Junior Padel Racket 2026
£60.31
The Royal Padel junior padel racket is an ultra-light racket for young players: Esprit Padel Shop lists it at 260 g for 2026 and describes a Soft Shell outer layer that absorbs vibration and reduces the shock through the hand. It is the lightest junior racket we list.
The listings we found do not give the shape, the core, the face material or an age range, so we cannot say who it fits beyond young and small. Our catalogue title is RP Padel Junior, which we take to be the same racket.

What the listing says about the Royal Padel junior
Two things are published. The weight is 260 g, which the retailer calls ultra-light so a child can play without tiring, and a Soft Shell, a softer outer layer that is said to absorb vibration and reduce pressure on the hand and wrist.
Everything else is blank. No shape, no core, no face and no age range, and no length or thickness, so judge it on the weight and on how it feels in your child's hand.
How light is 260 g?
Very. Our other junior pages list 310 to 330 g for the Black Crown Piton Junior, the adidas Arrow Hit Junior and the Babolat junior Alioth, and 335 to 345 g for the Bullpadel Hack Junior, which is close to adult weight. At 260 g the Royal Padel is 50 g or more lighter than the next lightest.
Lighter helps a small child swing and control the racket, but a very light racket also gives less power, so a stronger or older child may outgrow it quickly. Height is the better guide to size than age.

From one retailer; Royal Padel does not publish a sheet we could find. Other junior weights come from our own pages.
Choosing it, and not mixing it up
Do not confuse this with the Royal Padel RP Jpn Pro. That one is the adult Japan Pro Red, a head-heavy diamond for advanced players, even though our catalogue wrongly tags it as junior. This page is the child's racket.
More options are on our kids padel racket page. Fit a racket protector, add a small grip from the padel grips range, and pick up padel balls and padel shoes. The full padel racket range is behind them.
Who should skip it
Taller, stronger or more experienced children, and anyone who wants a stated shape, core and age range before they buy.
Not for you if
Your child is tall or already hitting hard, or you want a confirmed shape and core. At 260 g it is built for the smallest players, and the listing says little else.
