HBL Bud Junior Padel Racket 2026 (White)

Padel Shack lists a round head, an even balance, fibreglass on the face and frame, an EVA core and a one-piece structure. Each choice makes the racket easier for a beginner. A round head puts the sweet spot near the middle, where a child's contact tends to be. Fibreglass flexes more than carbon, so the ball comes off with a little help. EVA is the softer of the common foams. The profile is 36mm, slightly slimmer than the 38mm the rules allow.

Only one retailer gives these specs, and it doesn't list a length or an age range. Treat 320g as approximate.

Our kids padel racket guide puts most junior frames at 300 to 350g, against 355 to 375g for most adult rackets. Bullpadel's juniors are lighter: the Indiga Boy Junior 26 is around 280g. If your child is small, or if the racket is wobbling at the end of a rally, go lighter. If they're tall for their age and hit hard, the Bud's extra weight helps the ball travel.

A fresh overgrip from our padel grip range builds a thin handle up a touch and gives small hands something tacky to hold. Ordinary padel balls are fine for learning, and proper court shoes from the padel shoes page grip sand-dressed turf far better than trainers. If you're choosing for an adult beginner instead, start at padel rackets.
