Bullpadel Indiga Boy Padel Racket 26

£47.11

The Bullpadel Indiga Boy padel racket is a 280 g junior teardrop, and for once Bullpadel's retailers agree on every figure: a CarbonTube frame, a Polyglass face over an Evalastic core, and a medium, even balance. It's pitched at children around ages 8 to 12 having their first proper go at the sport.

A CarbonTube frame on an entry racket this cheap is unusual, and it's one reason this particular Indiga outlasts some rivals at the same price.

A fully confirmed spec sheet

Weight, shape, balance and materials all line up across retailers for once: 280 g with a 10 g tolerance, teardrop head, medium or even balance, a CarbonTube carbon frame, a Polyglass fibreglass face with a smooth texture, and an Evalastic EVA core underneath. One listing tags the level as "Intermediate" on its spec table, while the product description itself targets children around ages 8 to 12, which reads more like a beginner's first racket than a competitive step-up; we've reported both rather than picking one.

That CarbonTube frame is worth a second look. Most entry-level junior rackets use plain fibreglass or aluminium throughout; Bullpadel puts a real carbon tube in this one, which is part of why it holds its shape better than some cheaper rivals.

Boy 26 and Girl 26: a genuine colour twin

Unlike this racket's own Indiga Boy 27 successor, where a Girl 27 listing we found gives different figures, the 26 generation really is a colour-only pair. Cross-checking both listings gives the same 280 g, teardrop shape and medium balance for the Indiga Girl 26 as for this Boy version. Pick by colour with confidence here.

Indiga Boy or another Bullpadel junior?

The Indiga sits below the Vertex Junior and well below the Hack Junior in Bullpadel's own range, the right choice for a genuine beginner rather than a child already swinging a full stroke. If you'd rather have this season's racket over a fully confirmed spec sheet, the Indiga Boy 27 carries the same basic design into the newer collection, though Bullpadel hasn't published its weight yet. Going the other way, last season's Indiga Boy 25 matches this racket's own confirmed spec sheet almost exactly, minus the CarbonTube frame this generation adds. Outside Bullpadel, the round HBL Bud Junior is a heavier fibreglass option at about 320 g.

Not for you if

Your child already plays regularly and wants more pace off the frame. The heavier Vertex Junior or the 335 to 345 g Hack Junior suit a child who has outgrown an entry racket.

Setting a beginner up

A thin overgrip from padel grips gives a small hand a secure hold without bulking out the handle. A racket protector guards the frame's edge, which takes most of the knocks when a child is still learning where the sweet spot is. Junior padel shoes matter for grip on sand-dressed turf, and a tube of padel balls keeps a first session going without the bounce dying early. Our kids padel racket page sizes every junior frame we sell, the full padel racket range covers what comes next, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance from the start.
