Bullpadel Indiga Boy Junior Padel Racket 27

£58.63

The Bullpadel Indiga Boy junior padel racket is the entry point of Bullpadel's junior range: a soft, teardrop-shaped frame with a medium balance, built for a child's first sessions rather than competitive play. Bullpadel's 2027 collection lists it with a Polyglass face over an Evalastic core, aimed squarely at junior beginners.

It's the gentlest Bullpadel junior we stock, below the heavier Vertex and Hack juniors in both weight and intent.

What Bullpadel's 2027 listing confirms

The one retailer selling this exact 2027 model gives a teardrop head, a medium balance, a Polyglass face and an Evalastic core, with a soft feel pitched at junior beginners rather than children already playing competitively. No weight is published for the 27 generation specifically. Earlier Indiga Boy seasons, 2023 through 2026, are consistently listed at about 280 g across several retailers, so that figure is a reasonable guide, but we're not stating it as confirmed fact for this exact racket. If a confirmed spec sheet matters more to you than having this season's racket, the Indiga Boy 26 carries the same design with every figure published.

That puts it well below the 335 to 345 g Hack Junior and the 300 to 330 g Vertex Junior in Bullpadel's own range, both built for children already swinging a full stroke.

Indiga Boy or another Bullpadel junior?

Bullpadel uses the Indiga name for both this junior racket and its adult entry-level Indiga CTR and PWR rackets; they're different designs for different ages, not a smaller version of the same frame. Within the junior range, the Indiga Boy is the softest, lightest starting point. Step up to the Vertex Junior once a child is hitting with a fuller swing, and the Hack Junior only once they're tall and playing competitively, usually from about eleven. Outside Bullpadel, the Nox AT10 Genius Junior is a similarly gentle round frame worth comparing before you buy.

Table comparing the Bullpadel Indiga Boy 27 with the Vertex Junior and Hack Junior 26 by shape, balance, weight and who each suits

Who it suits, and a note on the Girl version

A child picking up a racket for the first time, light enough that the frame doesn't drag their swing down and soft enough to be forgiving of the off-centre hits every beginner makes. One listing for the matching Indiga Girl 27 gives a round shape and a low balance rather than this racket's teardrop and medium balance, which would make the two different designs, not just different colours, if that figure is accurate. We're not assuming a colour-only difference here, the way it is on some other Bullpadel juniors.

Not for you if

Your child already plays regularly and hits with a full swing. A heavier, more structured junior such as the Vertex Junior or the Hack Junior will suit them better than this entry-level frame.

Setting a beginner up

A thin overgrip from padel grips helps a small hand get a secure hold without making the handle feel bulky. A frame protector from the racket protector range guards the edge from the floor, which a first-timer's racket meets often. Junior-sized padel shoes matter for grip on sand-dressed turf, and a tube of padel balls keeps a first session going. Our kids padel racket page sizes every junior frame we sell by age and height, the full padel racket range covers every level beyond this one, and our guide to choosing a padel racket explains shape and balance from the start.

Bullpadel Indiga Boy Junior Padel Racket 27: questions people ask

Is the Bullpadel Indiga Boy the same as the adult Indiga rackets?

No. Bullpadel uses the Indiga name for both an adult entry-level line (Indiga CTR and PWR) and this separate junior racket. They're different designs for different ages.

How heavy is the Bullpadel Indiga Boy 27?

Bullpadel hasn't published a weight for the 27 generation. Earlier Indiga Boy seasons are consistently listed at about 280 g, which is a reasonable guide but not confirmed for this exact racket.

Is the Bullpadel Indiga Boy the same as the Indiga Girl, just a different colour?

Not necessarily for this generation. One listing for the Indiga Girl 27 gives a round, low-balance racket, different from this Boy version's teardrop, medium balance. If that holds, the two aren't simply the same frame in different colours.

What age is the Bullpadel Indiga Boy junior racket for?

Bullpadel doesn't give an age. It's pitched at junior beginners rather than a specific age band; our kids padel racket size chart uses height rather than age as the better guide.

What should my child move to after the Indiga Boy?

The Vertex Junior once they're hitting with a fuller swing, and the heavier Hack Junior only once they're tall and playing competitively, usually from about eleven.
