The Head Hydrosorb Comfort grip, black, is the thickest replacement grip Head makes, for players who want a cushioned, dampened handle and don't mind the extra girth.
Retailers list it at 2.1 mm and 20 g with no perforations, and our listing calls it an overgrip, which it isn't. It sits on the bare handle, and at that thickness it's usually too chunky for a padel racket.

Why it is the thickest
Tennis Express, Tennis Nuts and Kibi Sports agree on 2.1 mm and 20 g, and say it offers more dampening and cushion than any other Head replacement grip. Unlike the standard Hydrosorb it has no perforations, so it trades some airflow for a smoother surface.
More cushion means less vibration through the hand, which is the reason players with sore elbows reach for a thick grip. On a padel handle, which is already short, 2.1 mm can make the racket feel oversized.

Not for you if
You have small hands or a thin padel handle. At 2.1 mm this will make the grip a lot thicker than an overgrip.
Using it
Strip the old grip and wind it on from the butt cap, then tape the end. If you want extra tack, wrap a thin overgrip from padel grips over it, but that makes the handle even thicker. Find the rest of the small kit under padel accessories, and the padel racket range for the frame.
Hand size and handle size
Padel rackets have a standard handle length but varying thickness, so the grip you choose changes how the racket sits in your hand. If you're between sizes, a 2.1 mm base grip can bridge a small handle, and a 0.6 mm overgrip can't. Check the options at padel grips.
