Kelme Warrior Padel Racket

£74.95

The Kelme Warrior padel racket is a red carbon teardrop with a 12K carbon face, an Eva Ultra Rubber core, a 38 mm frame and a weight of 350 to 370 g. It's aimed at strong club players who want a slightly stiffer, more direct carbon face than Kelme's 3K models.

Two UK shops list the 12K face. One of them also contradicts itself on balance, so we cover what's certain and what isn't.

The build, and one loose end

Padel Shack and Stringers World both list a 12K carbon face, and Padel Shack adds an Eva Ultra Rubber core, a 38 mm frame, a smooth surface and 350 to 370 g. Padel Shack pitches it at very advanced players who want power and control, and notes it's easy to handle with short movements in defence, which makes lobs easy.

The loose end is balance. Padel Shack's spec row says head heavy; its extra-information box says even. Kelme publishes no balance figure. A head-heavy teardrop and an even one feel noticeably different at the net, so we'll measure ours when stock arrives and update this page.

12K against the 3K Kelmes

The Warrior is the only Kelme on our shelves with a 12K face. The others, the Shark, Felina and Puma, use 3K carbon. A higher K number means more filaments in each tow and a coarser weave; it usually feels a little stiffer and more direct, while 3K is finer and a touch more forgiving.

Don't overrate it, though. No test we've seen has measured a difference between weave counts, so treat 12K as a description of feel, not a guarantee of more power. Our carbon padel racket page has more on what the numbers mean.

Which Kelme is which

If you're choosing within the brand, the decision is mostly about face and feel. The 3K trio is softer; the Warrior is firmer; the Coyote 2025 is newer but its listings can't agree on its shape or core.

Who it suits

A confident intermediate or advanced club player with a clean swing who wants carbon at an entry price and likes a firmer strike. It sits on our teardrop padel racket and cheap padel racket pages alongside better-documented alternatives.

Not for you if

You're a beginner, you have a sensitive elbow, or you need a racket with an independent test score. The softer Kelme Shark has a Padelful review and is easier on the arm, and our beginners padel racket page covers first rackets.

Kit for the Warrior

A firmer face punishes a slippery handle, so keep a fresh overgrip on from our padel grips range, and fit a racket protector to protect the carbon frame.

Add a tube from our padel balls page, padel shoes with a herringbone sole and a padel bag, and browse every padel racket or read how to choose a padel racket if you're comparing.

Kelme Warrior Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Kelme Warrior the same as the Kelme Shark?

No. Both are carbon teardrops, but the Warrior has a 12K carbon face and an Eva Ultra Rubber core, while the Shark has a 3K face over an extra-soft core and feels softer.

Is the Kelme Warrior good for intermediate players?

For a confident intermediate with a clean swing, yes. Shops pitch it at advanced players, and its firmer face gives less help than Kelme's 3K models.

Kelme Warrior or Kelme Puma: which is better?

Neither has an independent score. The Warrior's 12K face is usually firmer and more direct; the Puma's 3K face over a soft core is gentler. Pick by the feel you prefer.

How do I look after the Kelme Warrior?

Fit a frame protector, use a cover, and keep the racket out of hot cars and direct sun, which soften EVA cores.

What is the balance of the Kelme Warrior?

The listing says head heavy in one place and even in another, and Kelme gives no figure. We will measure it when stock arrives.
