Why the thickness is a range
A single thickness would not describe this grip. The listing gives 0.5 to 3.1 mm, and a review of the KGT109 says a foam ridge runs down the centre, so the thin edges are 0.5 mm and the ridge is the thick part. That is the idea behind a spiral grip: your fingers land on the ridge and find the same place each time.
Karakal's X-Rip is a base grip with a similar contour idea, and the Kimony Power KGT112 has the same listed range.

Fitting it
Wrap it so the ridge sits where you want your fingers to land, and check the pack for size, since the listing gives none. The padel grips page explains how base layers and overgrips stack. For a plain thick grip with no ridge, see the Cushion Tech KGT113.
Who should skip it
Anyone who dislikes a ridge under the hand, or wants a flat 0.5 mm wrap such as the Hi-Soft KGT131. The padel accessories range has alternatives, and the padel racket range lists rackets. Our guide to choosing a padel racket covers handle size.
Not for you if
You want an even, flat handle. The thickness range comes from a ridge.
