Lacoste L-Soft Padel Racket

£230

The Lacoste L-Soft padel racket is a 345 g racket from the Lacoste range, developed with Tecnifibre as an easy-to-use, manoeuvrable option. PDH Sports lists it with a textured face and an intermediate level.

Weight and balance are consistent: Lacoste's pages give 345 g and a US balance of 26.5 cm, with a neutral feel. The head shape is not, because Lacoste says diamond and PDH Sports says teardrop.

What the L-Soft is for

Lacoste's Indonesian and Danish pages list 345 g, and PDH Sports gives the same figure, noting about 360 g with the wrist strap. Lacoste's US page gives a balance of 26.5 cm and describes the racket as easy to use and manoeuvrable.

That is a friendly spec for a player who wants quick hands at the net and an easier swing on long rallies. At 345 g it is lighter than the L-Max by 15 g, which you will feel by the end of a third set.

Weight and balance agree, shape does not.

Diamond or teardrop on the L-Soft

Lacoste describes a diamond shape for maximum power release, while PDH Sports lists a teardrop. Our listing is tagged teardrop. We could not settle it from the sources, so we do not claim either.

For a clearer picture of the shapes, our teardrop padel rackets and diamond padel rackets pages compare better-documented models.

L-Soft or the L-Max

The Lacoste L-Max is the heavier 360 g sibling aimed at more power. For Tecnifibre's own range, the Wall Breaker 365 is the 365 g carbon attacker and the Wall Master 365 is the round control option, with the lighter Wall Master 355 below it. Tecnifibre's own light diamond is the Bomba Lite.

Who should skip the L-Soft

Anyone who wants a heavy, head-heavy attacker, and anyone who needs a confirmed shape. Our intermediate padel rackets page covers other options at this level.

Lacoste also makes a court shoe, the AG-LT Ultra. Pair it with fresh padel balls, an overgrip from our padel grips range, a racket protector and proper padel shoes. Our guide to choosing a padel racket explains weight and shape, and the full padel racket range has the rest.

Not for you if

You want a heavy attacking racket. At 345 g this one is built for ease, not force.
