Nox Pickup Tube for Padel Balls (Red)

£17.50

The Nox pickup tube is a red padel ball collector with a carry strap, for coaches and players who feed a lot of balls and would rather not bend down for every one of them.

Nox's own pitch is simply that it collects and stores balls quickly. This is the 2019 model, which the UK seller we checked now lists as discontinued.

Why a pickup tube earns its place

Anyone who has run a basket drill knows the dull part is the clean-up. A tube lets you press down over a ball on the court and gather it without stooping, then carry the lot to the next drill on its strap. It's kit for coaches, club sessions and players who practise serves and smashes on their own with a bucket of padel balls.

It's also a tidy way to store a handful of older balls you've retired from matches but still use for practice. If you'd rather keep good balls lively between games, a ball pressuriser is the better tool.

What the listing does and doesn't say

Nox doesn't publish how many balls the tube holds, its length or the material, and the weight on the UK listing isn't believable for a plastic tube, so we've left it out. If capacity matters for your sessions, ask us before ordering.

Building a training bag around it

Pair it with a dozen or two of practice balls such as the Nox Nerbo dozen, and add simple footwork kit like a single folding hurdle for warm-ups. The newer red Nox collector tube listing adds a capacity range from other sellers. Everything else for training sits in our padel accessories range, and a roomy padel bag carries the lot.

Not for you if

You play the odd social game and keep one tube of balls. A pickup tube only pays off when you're collecting dozens of balls at a time.

Nox Pickup Tube for Padel Balls (Red): questions people ask

How many balls does the Nox pickup tube hold?

Nox does not publish a capacity for this tube. If you need a specific number for coaching sessions, ask us before ordering.

Who is the Nox ball pickup tube for?

Coaches, clubs and players who practise with a basket of balls. It saves bending down to collect them between drills.

Is a pickup tube the same as a ball pressuriser?

No. A pickup tube collects and carries balls; a pressuriser stores a tube of balls under pressure to keep them lively for longer.

Is the Nox pickup tube a current model?

It is the 2019 model, and the UK seller we checked lists it as discontinued.
