Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtreme Padel Racket 2027 by Edu Alonso

Padel Shack and Tennisnuts both list the same additions. The teardrop mould is redesigned. A Weight Balance system takes removable 2 g and 4 g counterweights, up to 8 g in all, so you can add a little mass where you want it. A VCS elastomer lining inside the handle sits alongside Nox's Pulse System rubber inserts to soak up vibration, and EOS Tunnel channels near the throat are there to cut air resistance. A Nox Custom Grip comes in the box.

Neither listing says where the counterweights fit or whether the 360 to 375 g figure includes them, so we'll weigh one when stock arrives rather than guess. The face is listed as 12K Alum Xtrem by both UK shops; one Spanish shop calls it 12K Xtrem.

The EA10 Ventus Hybrid 2026 has the same weight, the same MLD Black EVA core and a teardrop head, and it has something the 2027 doesn't yet: test scores. Padelful rated it 9.5 for handling and 9.2 for sweet spot, which is why it's so easy to recommend.

So the choice is simple. If you want to tinker with balance, or you want the extra damping in the handle, buy the 2027. If you want the racket with known numbers and no extras, the 2026 does the job.

The 2027 Ventus name covers four rackets. The Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite is the same idea at 350 to 360 g, for players who want quicker hands or a lighter arm load. The Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem, Aimar Goñi's racket, is the diamond with the weight up in the head. And Lamperti's round Ventus Control 3K is the control option, on a different HR3 Black core.

Advanced players, and strong intermediates with a clean swing, who play an all-court game and want a carbon teardrop that stays manageable late in a long match. Tennisnuts lists it as advanced.
