Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 Padel Racket

£231.74

The Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite is a light carbon racket for intermediate and advanced players who win points with quick hands rather than big smashes: 350 to 360 g, a 12K carbon face over an MLD Black EVA core, a medium balance and a rounded teardrop head. This is the 2027 edition.

Padelful scores it exactly as it scored the 2026, with 9.7 for handling and 8.7 for control. What changed is in the listings: 5 g lighter and a firmer feel.

How the 2027 Ventus Lite plays

Quick. Padelful lists quick hands in net exchanges, precise volleys and chiquitas, and controlled bandeja and víbora placement as its strengths, and that 9.7 for handling is about as high as Padelful scores any full-size racket. Its summary pictures a player who builds the point with defence, changes of pace and a forward position at the net.

The weaknesses are the price of a light, firm frame: little free power on the smash, a response that punishes lazy contact, and less rebound when you're defending from deep.

2027 or the 2026 Ventus Hybrid Lite?

On Padelful's scores, there's nothing to choose. The listings tell a slightly different story: the 2027 is 350 to 360 g against 355 to 365 g, Padelful now describes the feel as medium-hard rather than medium, and the face is listed as 12K carbon where the 2026 was 12K Xtrem. Treat those as small differences in how the racket is described, not a redesign.

Our view: buy the 2027 if you want the lightest, newest version, and the 2026 Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite if you'd like the same scores for less. If you want the full-weight Ventus, it's Edu Alonso's EA10 Ventus Hybrid.

Comparison of the Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 and 2026: weight, feel, face and shape label as listed, with Padelful scores unchanged

Who the Ventus Lite suits

Intermediate and advanced players who find 370 g carbon rackets slow at the net: lighter players, many women, and anyone who wants carbon precision without the weight. Our women's padel rackets and intermediate rackets pages compare it with other brands.

Not for you if

You finish with the smash, you defend mostly from the back glass, or you're in your first season. The firm, light frame gives little back on any of those. A full-weight teardrop or a soft fibreglass racket will serve you better.

Setting up the Ventus Lite

A fresh overgrip from our padel grips range adds a few grams at the handle and steadies a light head. Fit a racket protector straight away. Pair it with a tube from our padel balls, padel shoes made for sand-filled turf and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. The full padel racket range and our guide to choosing a padel racket cover the rest.

Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 different from the 2026?

Slightly, on paper: 350 to 360 g instead of 355 to 365 g, a firmer listed feel and a face described as 12K carbon. Padelful scores both editions identically.

Is the Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 good for intermediate players?

For intermediates with a tidy swing, yes. It is very easy to manoeuvre and controlled, but it gives little free power, so beginners will find it hard work.

Ventus Hybrid Lite or Genius 12K Lite?

Both are light Nox carbon rackets. The Ventus has the firmer MLD Black EVA core; the Genius Lite uses a softer white HR3 core and a more forgiving feel.

How heavy is the Nox Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027?

Padelful and Zona de Padel list 350 to 360 g. An overgrip adds about 4 to 5 g at the handle.

How do I look after the Ventus Lite?

Fit a frame protector, keep it in a cover and out of hot cars, and wipe the sand-finish face after play so the texture lasts.
