Nox AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2027 Padel Racket

£274.49

The Nox AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2027 is the lightest version of Agustin Tapia's Genius, for lighter players and strong intermediates who want carbon precision without full weight: 350 to 360 g, the stiff 12K Alum Xtrem face, a softer EVA core and a medium-balanced teardrop.

Nox now sells it as the Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite by Agustin Tapia, without the AT10 prefix, and many shops file it under women's rackets. Nothing about it is gender-specific.

  • Teardrop, medium balance
  • 350 to 360 g

  • Soft EVA core

What the Lite changes from the full Genius 12K

Two things: weight and core. The full-weight Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027 is 360 to 375 g on a firm MLD Black EVA core, and Padelful rates it 9.0 overall, the best score it has given a Nox. The Lite drops to 350 to 360 g and softens the core, keeping the same stiff face and the same teardrop.

The listings disagree on what the softer core is called. Zona de Padel lists a soft Black EVA; other shops list the HR3 White EVA that the 2026 Lite used. Both describe a softer, more comfortable response than the standard 12K, which is the part that matters on court.

How it plays

Padelful hasn't reviewed the 2027 Lite yet, so the nearest guide is last season's. The 2026 Genius 12K Lite scored 8.6 overall with a perfect 10 for handling and 9.1 for the sweet spot, and power at 7.6. The 2027 is a few grams lighter again, so expect the same story: very quick hands, a forgiving face for carbon, and a smash that relies on your swing rather than the racket.

Who should buy the Genius 12K Lite

Lighter players, many women, juniors who've grown into adult rackets, and intermediates moving from fibreglass who find 370 g frames slow at the net. Our women's padel rackets and intermediate rackets pages compare it with other brands.

Not for you if

You want the racket to finish points for you, or you're still in your first season. The stiff 12K face rewards a clean swing and gives little free power. A soft fibreglass racket such as the AT10 Pro Cup Soft is a kinder step.

Chart of weight ranges for the Nox Genius 12K Lite 2027 and 2026, the Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2027 and 2026, and the full-weight Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027

Setting it up

Add a fresh overgrip from our padel grips range; on a light racket it also steadies the head. Fit a racket protector before the first session. A tube from our padel balls, padel shoes for sand-filled turf and a padel bag with a thermal pocket complete the kit. See every padel racket we sell, or our guide to choosing a padel racket.

Yes. For 2027 Nox dropped the AT10 and Luxury tags from the name; it is still part of the Agustin Tapia line.

What is the difference between the Genius 12K Lite and the standard Genius 12K?

The Lite weighs 350 to 360 g against 360 to 375 g and uses a softer core. The face and teardrop shape are the same.

Is the Nox Genius 12K Lite 2027 a women's racket?

Shops often list it under women's rackets because of its weight, but it is unisex. Any player who wants a lighter carbon Genius can use it.

How heavy is the Nox AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2027?

Listed at 350 to 360 g before an overgrip. One shop quotes 360 to 375 g, which is the full-weight model and not this Lite.

How do I care for the Genius 12K Lite?

Use a frame protector and a cover, keep it out of hot cars, and wipe the sand-finish face after play.
