Nox VK10 Ventus Control 12K 2026 by Aranzazu Osoro

Round shape, weight kept near the hand, a medium-hard feel: the VK10 Ventus Control 12K is built to be moved quickly and to put the ball where you aim. Padelful's strengths are steady blocks under pressure, a predictable response in defence and clean volleys and bandejas. Its weaknesses are just as clear. It doesn't add much pace on its own, and on the smash you supply the speed.

That makes it a racket for players who already have a swing. If you hit through the ball, it rewards you with accuracy. If you push at it, the ball will sit up.

Nox's other round carbon control racket for 2026 is Miguel Lamperti's ML10 Ventus Control 3K. On Padelful's numbers the Lamperti racket is steadier, with control 9.0, sweet spot 8.7 and a little more power at 7.9. The Osoro racket is quicker, 9.1 for handling against 8.4, and slightly livelier off the face. Pick the 3K if you want a bigger margin for error, the 12K if your game lives at the net.

Osoro's earlier VK10 Quantum 3K scores almost the same as this racket on Padelful, but it's lighter at 350 to 365 g, with a 3K face over an HR3 core. The Ventus is the firmer, full-weight step up.

For 2027 Nox dropped the VK10 prefix. Zona de Padel lists the new edition at 360 to 370 g with a 12K carbon face, against 360 to 375 g and 12K Xtrem for this one, and the same MLD Black EVA core. Those are small differences on paper, and only the 2026 has been tested. If you want the racket with scores behind it, this is the one.

Osoro is an Argentine drive-side player on the women's tour, and Zona de Padel files this racket under women's models, but at full weight it suits anyone with a controlled, net-first game. Tennisnuts lists it for intermediate and advanced players. Compare it with other round frames on our control padel racket page.

Listings disagree on the balance: Zona de Padel says low, Tennisnuts says medium. Either way, an extra overgrip from our padel grips range nudges it further towards the hand. Nox includes a Custom Grip, and a Nox protector keeps the frame tidy. Add a tube from the padel balls page and padel shoes with a herringbone sole. Still comparing?
