Nox VK10 Quantum 3K 2025 Padel Racket

£209.99

The Nox VK10 Quantum 3K is Aranzazu Osoro's 2025 signature racket: a round, 350 to 365 g carbon frame with a 3K carbon face and an HR3 EVA core. It suits intermediate and advanced players, women or lighter men especially, who want carbon control in a racket that stays quick in the hand.

It's last season's model now. Nox moved Osoro's line onto its Ventus platform for 2026, which leaves the Quantum as the lighter, softer and quicker of her two recent rackets.

Light in the hand, honest off the face

Padelful scores it 8.5 overall: 8.9 for control, 9.0 for manoeuvrability, 8.5 for rebound and the sweet spot, and 7.7 for power. It praises the control, the generous sweet spot and the ball's response off the HR3 core, and calls the feel medium.

There's one warning, and it's a fair one. You need a full follow-through to deal with hard-hit balls, because 350-odd grams of round racket won't absorb a big smash for you. Swing through and it's a lovely, precise thing to volley with.

Quantum 3K or Osoro's 2026 Ventus Control 12K?

Her 2026 racket, the VK10 Ventus Control 12K, lands almost on top of the Quantum in Padelful's scores: 7.3 for power, 8.8 control, 8.6 rebound, 9.1 handling, 8.4 sweet spot. The difference is the build. The Ventus is heavier at 360 to 375 g, with a stiffer 12K Xtrem face over an MLD Black EVA core, and Padelful rates it medium-hard.

So the choice is about feel more than numbers. If you like a softer strike and a lighter racket, the Quantum is the better pick, and it's on our padel racket sale page as an outgoing model. If you want firmness and stability in the block, go for the Ventus.

Against other round carbon Nox rackets

Retailers describe the Quantum as a lighter version of Miguel Lamperti's racket from the same season. Today's nearest Lamperti equivalent is the ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026: same 3K face, same HR3 core family, 10 g heavier. Padelful puts it a touch steadier (control 9.0, sweet spot 8.7) and the Quantum quicker (9.0 against 8.4 for handling).

Low or medium balance? The shops disagree

Some listings give the Quantum a low balance, others medium, and Padelful mentions a balance point that sits a little higher for net play. Nox publishes no figure. Our read is that it's a round racket, so the weight sits nearer the hand than on any teardrop, and it'll feel lighter still at the 350 g end of the window. Weigh yours on arrival if it matters to you.

Listings also mention a few Nox extras: a photochromic paint that shifts colour in the light, the Smartstrap replaceable wrist cord, and Nox's Custom Grip and Pulse System on the handle, aimed at taking some vibration out before it reaches the hand.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't

Women and lighter players at intermediate level or above, and anyone stepping up from a fibreglass round racket who doesn't want extra weight. The womens padel racket page lists other rackets in the same weight band, and our control padel racket hub covers round rackets from every brand.

Not for you if

You want the racket to finish points for you. With 7.7 for power it won't, and a light round head gives little help on the smash. You'll also miss out on spin if you mostly flat-hit; the textured face only pays off with a brushing swing.

Grip, protector, balls and bag

A light racket feels the weight of every overgrip, so one thin wrap from our padel grips range is plenty. Fit Nox frame protectors to keep the carbon rim clear of the glass, and keep a fresh tube of Nox Pro Titanium balls in the bag; more on that on our padel balls page.

Padel shoes with a herringbone sole and a padel bag with a thermal pocket finish the kit. To compare across brands, see every padel racket we list or our guide to choosing a padel racket.

Nox VK10 Quantum 3K 2025 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox VK10 Quantum 3K the same racket as the VK10 Ventus Control 12K?

No. Both are round rackets from Ara Osoro's VK10 line, but the Quantum 3K is the 2025 model at 350 to 365 g with a 3K face and HR3 core, and the Ventus Control 12K is the firmer 2026 model at 360 to 375 g.

Is the Nox VK10 Quantum 3K only for women?

No. It is light for a carbon racket, which suits many women, but any player who wants a quick round racket can use it. Strong hitters may find it too light on the smash.

Nox VK10 Quantum 3K or ML10 Ventus Control 3K: which has more control?

They are close. Padelful gives the ML10 Ventus 9.0 for control against 8.9 for the Quantum, while the Quantum is quicker in the hand. The ML10 is about 10 g heavier.

How do I keep the VK10 Quantum 3K in good shape?

Use a cover, keep it out of hot cars, fit frame protectors and change the overgrip often. A textured face keeps its grip longer if you wipe it down after play.

What does VK10 stand for on a Nox racket?

It is the code Nox uses for Aranzazu Osoro's signature line, in the way AT10 marks Agustín Tapia's rackets and ML10 Miguel Lamperti's.
