Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026 Padel Racket

£238.99

The Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K is Miguel Lamperti's round carbon racket for 2026: 360 to 375 g, a 3K carbon face over an HR3 EVA core, and a balance that stays out of the head. It's for intermediate and advanced players who build points and defend, and who want carbon without the jarring feel that often comes with it.

Think of it as the grown-up version of the ML10 Pro Cup, Lamperti's long-running fibreglass control racket. Same round idea, firmer materials, a little more pace on the ball.

What it does well, and where it runs out

Padelful gives it 8.5 overall, with 9.0 for control and 8.7 for the sweet spot. Its list of strengths could have been written by a right-side player: a wide, forgiving sweet spot, stability at the net, and bandejas and víboras that land where you meant them. It also calls the feel soft and comfortable, which is unusual for a carbon face.

The trade is pace. Power scores 7.9, and Padelful's weaknesses are limited top-end power, a slower ball and a lack of crisp, explosive feedback. Padelful's own line is that the ML10 series has always leaned towards order over violence. That's fair. If you want the ball to leave like a firework, this isn't it.

2026 or the 2027 Ventus Control 3K?

Nox kept the shape, weight and 3K face for 2027 and dropped the ML10 badge, so the new one is sold as the Ventus Control 3K by Miguel Lamperti. The difference is in the feel. Padelful lists the 2027 as medium-hard on an HR3 Black EVA core, and scores it slightly higher for control (9.2) and sweet spot (8.9), but lower for rebound (7.9 against 8.4).

In plain terms, the 2026 is the softer, livelier racket and the 2027 the firmer, more exact one. If arm comfort matters to you, the 2026 is the one to have.

From the ML10 Pro Cup to the Ventus

Plenty of buyers arrive here from the ML10 Pro Cup Rough, the fibreglass racket in Lamperti's line. Against the 2027 Rough, Padelful scores the Ventus higher for power (7.9 against 7.0) and much quicker in the hand (8.4 against 7.4), with the same 9.0 for control. The Pro Cup keeps the bigger sweet spot. So the step up buys you speed and a bit of punch, not more forgiveness.

Who should buy it, and who shouldn't

Right-side players, patient defenders and anyone moving from a fibreglass round racket who wants carbon without a harsh strike. It sits comfortably on our control padel racket page and is a sensible top end for the best padel racket for intermediate players who already play a controlled game.

Not for you if

You finish at the net with the smash and want the racket to add pace. Look at a teardrop or diamond instead, such as Edu Alonso's EA10 Ventus Attack, which scores 9.4 for power on Padelful.

Fitting it out

Round rackets have a short handle feel; one tacky overgrip from our padel grips range is usually enough. A set of Nox frame protectors saves the carbon rim from the glass when you scoop balls out of the corner.

Control rackets need balls with some life in them, or the lob dies short; a tube of Nox Pro Titanium or anything from our padel balls page will do. Add padel shoes with a herringbone sole and a padel bag with a thermal pocket, because carbon faces don't like hot car boots; Lamperti's own ML10 Competition XL Compact keeps three rackets in its thermal section. Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K the same as the 2027 Nox Ventus Control 3K?

Same round shape, weight and 3K carbon face, but not the same feel. Padelful lists the 2027 as medium-hard on an HR3 Black EVA core, against medium for the 2026, and scores the 2026 higher for rebound.

Is the Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K suitable for an intermediate player?

Yes, if you play a controlled game. The sweet spot is wide and the feel soft for carbon. Beginners will find the fibreglass ML10 Pro Cup easier and kinder on the budget.

Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K or VK10 Ventus Control 12K: what is the difference?

Both are round carbon control rackets. The VK10 from Ara Osoro's line has a low balance and a stiffer 12K Xtrem face on an MLD core; the ML10 has a medium balance, a 3K face and a softer HR3 core.

How do I look after the Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K?

Keep it out of hot cars and direct sun, which soften EVA cores, fit a frame protector, and wipe the sand-finish face after play. Change the overgrip as soon as it turns shiny.

What does 3K mean on the Nox ML10 Ventus Control?

It names the carbon weave: a small, square pattern with fewer fibres per bundle than the 12K and 18K faces on Nox's firmer rackets. It usually reads as a touch more forgiving, though no lab test we have seen measures the difference.
