Nox Future Control 12K Alum 2025 Padel Racket

£189.99

The Nox Future Control 12K Alum is the round racket in Nox's 2025 Future line: about 360 g, a low, head-light balance, a 12K aluminised carbon face with a rough 3D finish and a dense EV50 core. It's for intermediate and advanced players who build points and want quick hands at the net with a bit more punch than most control rackets give.

Padelful scores it 8.4 overall, the best of the three Future shapes, with 8.9 for handling.

A control racket that still hits

On Padelful's numbers this is a well-balanced racket: 8.9 for handling, 8.6 for control, 8.5 for power and the sweet spot, and 7.5 for rebound. A power score of 8.5 is high for a round frame. The dense EV50 core and the stiff 12K Alum face give the ball a sharp exit when you swing, while the round head and low balance keep the racket quick in your hand.

The lower rebound is the trade. The ball doesn't spring off the face from a passive block, so defending from the back means swinging through it. Tennisnuts lists it as a control racket for intermediate and advanced players, and that's about right.

Control, Hybrid or Attack?

Nox made the Future in three shapes on the same EV50 core and 12K Alum face. The Future Hybrid is the teardrop with a medium balance, and the Future Attack is the head-heavy diamond Padelful scores 9.6 for power. The Control gives up power to both and wins on handling and overall score.

Future Control or ML10 Ventus Control 3K?

Both are round carbon control rackets from Nox at much the same weight. Lamperti's ML10 Ventus Control 3K has a finer 3K face over an HR3 core: Padelful scores it higher for control (9.0) and rebound (8.4), lower for power (7.9) and handling (8.4). The Future Control is the quicker, punchier racket; the Ventus the more exact and forgiving one when you're pushed back.
