Nox Future Hybrid 12K Alum 2025 Padel Racket

£189.99

The Nox Future Hybrid 12K Alum is the all-round teardrop of Nox's 2025 Future line: 360 to 375 g, an even balance, a 12K aluminised carbon face with a rough 3D finish and a dense EV50 core. It suits improving and strong club players who want a carbon racket that can attack as well as defend.

Padelful scores it 9.0 for power and 8.3 overall. Nox calls it a hybrid; on every spec sheet it's a teardrop.

Power first, then everything else

The headline score is power, 9.0 on Padelful, which is a lot for a teardrop with an even balance. Handling and sweet spot follow at 8.4 each, control at 7.9 and rebound at 7.6. Padelful describes it as a racket for players who thrive on versatility, and the numbers agree: nothing is weak, and the smash is strong.

The stiff 12K Alum face and dense EV50 core are why. The ball leaves fast when you swing, but there's less help on soft touches and passive blocks. Tennisnuts lists the face's rough 3D texture as an aid to spin.

Who it is for, according to whom

The shops can't agree. Tennisnuts lists it for advanced players; Zona de Padel recommends it for beginners and intermediates who already have a base. Our view sits in between: it's a sensible first carbon racket for an improving player with a proper swing, and a good all-court option for strong club players.

Future Hybrid, Future Control or Ventus Hybrid?

Within the Future line, the round Future Control trades power for handling (8.9) and scores a little higher overall, and the diamond Future Attack adds power (9.6) at the cost of handling. Step up to Edu Alonso's EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtreme and you get a quicker, more forgiving teardrop (9.5 for handling, 9.2 sweet spot) with less punch.

When to choose something else

If you're a beginner, a stiff carbon face and dense core will feel harsh; a fibreglass racket from our beginners padel racket page will help you more. And if control and touch matter more to you than power, the Future Control is the better racket in the same line. For more teardrops across brands, see our teardrop padel racket page.

Grip, protector and balls

A Nox protector keeps the carbon rim tidy, and a tacky overgrip from our padel grips range suits a racket you'll swing hard. Add a tube of Nox Pro Titanium or anything from our padel balls page, padel shoes with a herringbone sole and a padel bag. See every padel racket or read how to choose a padel racket if you're still comparing.

Nox Future Hybrid 12K Alum 2025 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox Future Hybrid 12K Alum the same as the NFA version?

Shops sell the same 2025 racket with and without "NFA" in the name. NFA refers to the Nox Future Academy; the listed specs are the same.

Is the Nox Future Hybrid good for intermediate players?

For an improving intermediate with a proper swing, yes. It is a stiff carbon teardrop, so beginners will find it harsh.

Nox Future Hybrid or EA10 Ventus Hybrid: which should I choose?

The Future Hybrid hits harder (9.0 for power on Padelful). The Ventus Hybrid is quicker and more forgiving, with a bigger sweet spot. Pick by whether you need punch or help.

Will the rough face on the Nox Future Hybrid wear smooth?

Slowly, with heavy use. Wipe it after play and keep it out of hot cars; a cover and frame protector help it last.

How heavy is the Nox Future Hybrid 12K Alum?

Listings give 360 to 375 g with an even balance.
