Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K NFA Series Padel Racket 2026

£147.97

The Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K NFA Series padel racket is the all-round half of Nox's 2026 NextGen Pro pair: a teardrop-style hybrid with an even balance, 360 to 375 g, a 12K carbon face with a rough Dual Spin finish and an MLD Black EVA core. It suits improving and strong club players who defend as often as they attack and want one carbon racket for both.

It comes in white with gold details. Like its diamond twin, it's too new for independent test scores, so what follows is built from the UK listings.

  • Hybrid teardrop, even balance
  • 360 to 375 g
  • 12K carbon face
  • MLD Black EVA core
  • Rough Dual Spin finish
  • 38 mm, 2026

Hybrid, teardrop, or both?

Nox calls it a hybrid. Tennisnuts files it as a hybrid in the spec table and describes a teardrop head in the copy, and that's the honest answer: it's a teardrop in shape, with the sweet spot a little higher than a round racket's and lower than a diamond's. With an even balance, the weight sits in the middle, so it's quicker in the hands than the head-heavy Attack.

Tennisnuts labels it counter-attacking, which is a fair way to describe a racket that will block a hard smash back and still finish an easy one. Tennisnuts describes the MLD Black EVA core as medium-firm, the same core Edu Alonso's Ventus rackets use.

NextGen Pro Hybrid or NextGen Pro Attack?

The two NextGen Pro rackets share almost everything: 12K carbon face, MLD Black EVA core, carbon frame, 38 mm profile, Dual Spin texture, Nox's DCS frame build, its AVS anti-vibration system and a Smart Strap. The difference is shape and balance. The diamond Attack version is head-heavy and built for the smash; the Hybrid is even and built for everything else as well.

If you're not sure which you are, you're probably a Hybrid player. Most club points are won by the side that makes fewer mistakes, not the one that hits hardest.

Against Nox's tested teardrops

Three Nox 12K teardrops have Padelful scores, and they're the obvious alternatives. Edu Alonso's EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtreme uses the same MLD Black EVA core and scores 9.5 for handling. The 2025 Future Hybrid 12K Alum has a denser EV50 core and scores 9.0 for power. Tapia's AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2026 scores 8.7 overall.

Our read: if you want certainty, buy the Ventus Hybrid, which shares this core and has the numbers to back it. If you like the NextGen's spin face or its white and gold finish, nothing in the build should surprise a Ventus Hybrid player.

Who it suits, and who should wait

Players moving up from fibreglass who now have a proper swing, and strong club players who want one carbon racket for attack and defence. Tennisnuts puts it at intermediate to advanced. For more shapes like this, see our teardrop padel racket page.

Not for you if

You're in your first year of padel; a softer fibreglass racket from the beginner padel rackets page will be kinder on your arm and your mishits. Or you want Padelful scores before you spend this much, in which case the Ventus Hybrid is the one.

Grip, protector, balls

A Nox protector saves the white frame from the scuffs that show up so well on it. Fit an overgrip from our padel grips range before the first session, keep a tube of Nox Nerbo or anything from the padel balls page in the bag, and wear padel shoes with a herringbone sole. Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K NFA Series Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

Is the Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K a teardrop or a hybrid?

Both labels are used. Nox and the spec tables call it a hybrid; the head is teardrop-shaped, with the sweet spot between a round and a diamond racket.

What level is the Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K for?

Tennisnuts lists it for intermediate and advanced players. Improvers with a full swing will get on with it; true beginners should start with fibreglass.

NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K or EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtreme: which should I pick?

Both are 360 to 375 g teardrops on an MLD Black EVA core. The Ventus Hybrid has Padelful scores, including 9.5 for handling; the NextGen Pro Hybrid is newer, untested and has an even balance and a rough Dual Spin face.

How do I stop the white NextGen Pro Hybrid frame looking scuffed?

Fit a frame protector straight away, keep it in its cover between sessions and wipe off sand after play. White frames show every mark from the glass and the floor.

What is the balance of the Nox NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K?

Even, according to both UK spec tables. One Tennisnuts FAQ mentions a lower balance point, but its own spec table says even.
