Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K NFA Series Padel Racket 2026

£160.97

The Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K NFA Series padel racket is a 2026 power diamond: head-heavy, 360 to 375 g, a 12K carbon face with a rough Dual Spin finish over an MLD Black EVA core, and a carbon frame. It's built for intermediate and advanced players who finish points overhead and want a carbon diamond from Nox without going straight to a signature model.

It's new enough that no independent tester has scored it yet, so this page sticks to what the UK listings agree on and flags where shops disagree.

What a head-heavy 12K diamond does

A diamond puts the sweet spot high on the head and most of the mass out there with it. With a high balance on top, the racket does a lot of the work on a smash: you swing, the head carries through, the ball goes. Tennisnuts lists it as a power racket and says it's at its best on overheads and attacking volleys.

The cost is the usual one. Head-heavy diamonds are slower to bring round on fast exchanges at the net and less forgiving low on the face. The 12K carbon face is firm, and MLD Black EVA is the core Nox also uses in Edu Alonso's attacking racket, so the feel is crisp rather than cushioned. The rough Dual Spin texture is there to grip the ball on slice and kick serves.

The specs, and where shops disagree

Padel Shack and Tennisnuts agree on the important numbers: diamond, head-heavy, 360 to 375 g, 12K carbon face, MLD Black EVA core. Tennisnuts adds a 38 mm profile and pitches it at intermediate and advanced players. Padel Shack lists Nox's DCS frame structure, its AVS anti-vibration system and the Smart Strap, a replaceable wrist cord.

One EU shop gives 355 to 370 g and an HR3 Black core instead, and another's spec table says 3K while its own text says 12K. We've gone with the two UK listings, which match each other, and we'll weigh the first rackets in.

What NFA Series means

Retailers describe NFA as Nox's Future Academy, its programme for younger players, and the same letters appear on the Future Attack 12K Alum. Neither UK listing for this racket explains it, and nothing in the specs suggests a junior racket: at 360 to 375 g with a high balance, it's a full adult diamond. Its sibling, the NextGen Pro Hybrid 12K, is the teardrop version in the same series.

Against Nox's other 12K diamonds

Nox has three better-documented 12K diamonds. Edu Alonso's EA10 Ventus Attack 12K Xtreme shares the MLD Black EVA core and scores 9.4 for power on Padelful. The 2025 Future Attack has an EV50 core and scores 9.6. Tapia's AT10 Genius Attack 12K 2026 is the hardest hitter of the three on Padelful, at 9.9. All four weigh in at 360 to 375 g.

If you want a tested racket with known scores, one of those three is the safer buy today. If you like the NextGen's look or its Dual Spin face, the build is close enough to the Ventus Attack that you won't be surprised.

Who should buy it

Intermediate and advanced players with a full swing who win points with the smash and the attacking volley. Browse more on our diamond padel racket page or the intermediate padel racket picks.

Not for you if

You're a beginner, or you play mostly from the back and win by keeping the ball in. A firm, head-heavy diamond punishes off-centre hits and tires the arm; a round racket from our control padel racket page is kinder.

Setting it up

Fit a Nox protector before the first match; diamonds catch the glass and the floor with the top of the frame. A thin, tacky overgrip from our padel grips range keeps the handle secure on full swings. Add a tube of Nox Pro Titanium or any ball from the padel balls page, padel shoes with a herringbone sole and a padel bag with a thermal pocket. Comparing more widely? Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K NFA Series Padel Racket 2026: questions people ask

Is the Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K the same racket as the NFA Series?

Yes. Shops sell it as the NextGen Pro Attack 12K NFA Series 2026, code PNFANGAT1226. NFA is the series name, not a different version.

Is the Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K good for intermediate players?

For an intermediate with a full swing, yes; Tennisnuts lists it for intermediate and advanced players. Beginners will find a head-heavy carbon diamond hard work.

Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K or EA10 Ventus Attack 12K Xtreme?

Both are 360 to 375 g diamonds on an MLD Black EVA core. The Ventus Attack has Padelful scores (9.4 for power); the NextGen Pro Attack is newer, untested and has a rough Dual Spin face.

Will the rough face on the NextGen Pro Attack wear smooth?

Slowly, with heavy use and sand. Wipe the face after play, keep the racket out of hot cars and use the cover between sessions.

How heavy is the Nox NextGen Pro Attack 12K?

Both UK listings give 360 to 375 g with a high balance. One EU shop lists 355 to 370 g; we will confirm on arrival.
