Nox Nerbo Padel Balls Tube of 3

£5.47

The Nox Nerbo padel balls tube holds three pressurised, FIP-approved balls, the standard Nerbo, for players who want to try the ball before they commit to a dozen or who only play now and then. Retailers pitch it at every level, with a reactive, consistent bounce.

One tube is roughly one session. Padel Nuestro's only published figure is about three games of frequent use per can, so what's here is a fresh set for an evening, not a month's supply.

How many tubes do you need?

Take the three-games-a-tube figure at face value and the arithmetic is easy: play once a week and you want a tube every three weeks or so, play twice and it's one a week and a half. Nobody publishes a real lifespan, and a hot car or a cold shed will change it, so use the chart as a starting point and buy more tubes than you think you need rather than playing a flat third set.

A new ball sits at roughly 10.1 to 11.5 psi under the FIP's rules, and it only goes one way from the moment the tube is opened. If you're going through tubes quickly, the Nerbo dozen is four of these in one pack.

Nerbo, Nerbo Speed or something else?

Nox's standard Nerbo is the all-rounder. The Nerbo Speed is sold on a livelier bounce, and the Pro Titanium can on a reinforced core. A budget lively can, the Pro Bounce from All For Padel, exists too, with much less documented. If your league plays HEAD, practise with the HEAD Pro S+ instead.

Not for you if

You play weekly or run sessions. A single tube is the most expensive way to buy balls over a season; see the dozen or the padel balls page for bigger packs.

Keeping an opened tube lively

Once opened, the pressure starts to leave. Keep the balls in the tube with the lid on, out of the boot of a hot car, or use a ball pressuriser such as the HEAD X4 between sessions. For a racket to go with them, Lamperti's round Ventus Control 3K adds little pace of its own and gets on well with a lively ball; the full padel racket range is a click away.

Nox Nerbo Padel Balls Tube of 3: questions people ask

Are the Nox Nerbo balls in a tube the same as the dozen?

Yes, the same ball. The dozen is usually four tubes; this listing is one tube of three.

How long does a tube of Nox Nerbo balls last?

Nox gives no figure. Padel Nuestro says about three games of frequent use per can, and a pressuriser can stretch that.

Are Nox Nerbo balls suitable for beginners?

Yes. Retailers pitch them at every level, and any fresh FIP-approved ball is fine while you learn.

Is a Nox Nerbo tube pressurised?

Yes, like every padel ball sold in the UK. Once opened it begins to lose pressure, so store it in the tube or a pressuriser.
