Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver 2027 Padel Racket

£116.97

The Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver is the lighter member of Miguel Lamperti's round control family: the same forgiving Pro Cup mould at 350 to 365 g instead of 360 to 375 g, with a smooth silver fibreglass face and a soft HR3 EVA core. It suits improving club players, many women and anyone who finds the standard Pro Cup a little heavy by the third set.

Some shops sell it as the ML10 Pro Cup Light. It's the same racket under a second name, and this page is its 2027 edition.

Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver vs Coorp vs Rough

Nox makes three Pro Cups for 2027 from one mould, and the names don't help. The ML10 Pro Cup Coorp is the classic, smooth-faced version most people mean when they say "Pro Cup". The ML10 Pro Cup Rough adds a textured face for spin. The Silver keeps a smooth face and takes roughly ten grams out of the frame.

Ten grams doesn't sound like much on a scale. On court it's the difference between a volley you reach comfortably and one you arrive at a fraction late, especially for a player whose swing tires in the last half-hour of a ninety-minute booking.

How the ML10 Pro Cup Silver plays

Calm is the word. The round head puts a big, central sweet spot where an improving player actually makes contact, and Padelful scores it 9.0 there, with 8.8 for rebound: lobs and defensive balls from the back glass travel deep without much effort. Placement on the bandeja is tidy too.

Against the Rough, the Silver gives up a little control (8.5 against 9.0) and a fraction of power, and gains quicker hands, 8.3 for manoeuvrability against 7.4. That trade is the whole point of the racket.

Smashes are its weak spot. A flat overhead lacks the punch to finish points, and because the face is smooth, a víbora won't bite the way it does off the Rough. You'll win points with position and patience rather than winners, which suits plenty of club doubles and frustrates anyone who likes to hit through the ball.

Who should buy the Pro Cup Silver, and who should not

Buy it if you've played for a season or two, you like the idea of a control racket, and a 365 g frame feels like hard work. It's a sensible step up from a first racket for many women and for lighter or older players, and a good second racket for a right-side player who defends. Shops list it for men and women alike; the weight, not the label, is what matters.

Our honest view: if you're choosing between this and the Coorp and you can't decide, hold both if you get the chance. The one that still feels light after a few minutes of shadow swings is your answer.

Not for you if

You finish points with the smash, you want maximum spin, or you're a strong player who already swings fast. The Rough has more bite and control, and Nox's AT10 Pro Cup Soft teardrop offers more power with the same soft-core comfort.

Setting up and kitting out a Pro Cup Silver

A light racket feels lighter still with a slick handle, so start with a fresh overgrip; the Nox Custom Grip is the brand's own, and the padel grips page compares tacky and dry wraps. Each overgrip adds about 4 to 5 g at the handle, which nudges the balance further towards your hand.

Fit a frame protector before the first session, because round rackets get dragged off the floor more than most. For balls, a tube of Nox Nerbo suits club play, and the padel balls guide covers how long a tube lasts. Carry it in the ML10 Team backpack, and pick padel shoes with a sole made for sand-filled turf, such as Lamperti's own ML10 Hexa shoes.

Want to compare more widely? The control padel rackets page lines up every round frame we stock, women's padel rackets covers the light editions from other brands, and the full padel racket range has everything else. If you're still settling on a shape, read our guide to choosing a padel racket.

Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver 2027 Padel Racket: questions people ask

Is the Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver the same as the ML10 Pro Cup Light?

Yes. Some shops list the 2027 racket as the Pro Cup Light while Nox's technical catalogue calls it the Pro Cup Silver. Both names describe the same round, 350 to 365 g racket with a smooth silver fibreglass face.

What is the difference between the Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver and the Corp?

Weight, mainly. The Coorp (often spelt Corp) is the standard 360 to 375 g Pro Cup; the Silver takes about 10 g out for quicker handling. Both are round with a smooth face and an HR3 EVA core, so they feel related, but the Coorp carries a little more weight into the ball.

Is the ML10 Pro Cup Silver a women's padel racket?

Several shops file it under women's rackets because of its weight, and it suits many women well. Nothing in its design is gender-specific, though. Any player who wants a lighter round control racket, including juniors moving to adult frames and players with a tiring arm, can use it.

Is the Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver good for beginners?

It's forgiving enough for a keen beginner, with a big central sweet spot and easy depth from the back. A complete novice may get on equally well with a cheaper first racket; the Silver earns its keep once you play every week and want control.

How long does a Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver last?

Nox gives no figure. A fibreglass face and soft core tend to lose some liveliness with heavy use, so a weekly player usually notices it softening before the frame is damaged. Protect the frame edge, keep the racket out of hot cars and store it in a cover.
